Very pleasant stay with our children before our trip to Harry Potter studio tour! Staff were exceptionally friendly & very helpful indeed! Exterior of the building is quite dated & could certainly do with a facelift though!

Brilliant hotel for Harry Potter stay

It was a very comfortable and spacious room. The beds were very comfy. The hotel was very clean and it was quiet at night so my sleep was not disturbed. The breakfast exceeded our expectations it was fantastic with a very good selection. The staff we’re very helpful and made your stay feel very welcome. What a lovely hotel I will definitely be using the Hilton hotels again it was amazing.

We chose this hotel for its location. It was 5 mins by taxi to Watford Junction station for trains to London and 15mins drive to Harry Potter studios. On arrival, the outside looked a bit dated but inside was fresh and clean. The room was clean, well equipped and a good size. My only complaint was there was no A/C so the room was too warm in the hot weather. The staff in the hotel were all wonderful - helpful and friendly, especially Martina who served us in the restaurant. We were particularly impressed with the huge choice at breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel close to Harry Potter Studio Tour

We had a family room to avoid the 3hoir drive home after visiting the Harry Potter studio tour. Our room was comfortable. Not loads of room to move around with the sofa bed converted but we didn't feel squished. It was lovely to have a bath in the bathroom rather than just a shower and the staff at breakfast were very accommodating about food and onward travel. Recommended stay.

In our hotel room the heating would bot wprk reception brought us up heaters that were noisy and b4 we went to sleep we turned them off and there were sparks coming out of the plug socket. We then woke throughout the night freezing. The hotel staff told me to contact you for a full refubd please can you let me know.

Very convenient if visiting Harry Potter studios!

Hotel looks pretty run down from the outside but is very clean and more modern inside. Recently stayed here for 2 nights as me and my boyfriend had booked to go to Harry Potter studios. The hotel is within 10 minutes drive so very convienent! .. whilst staying at the hotel we were given the wrong room but the staff were willing to change this and even upgraded us free of charge! The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, bathroom could have been a little more modern ... breakfast was nice and fresh too. I would recommend this hotel for anyone going to the studios.

We picked this hotel because of the close location to Warner Bros being only 12 minutes up the road. Hotel reception staff greeted warmly on arrival and were very efficient on arrival and helped with enquiries throughout our stay. Room was clean on suited our needs during our 2 night stay, but we were confused why only one chair provided in double room. Hotel is very close to m1 but the only noise we heard at night were other guests. Breakfast was very good with wide variety of food available. On the 1st evening we dined at the Chinese restaurant which was 5 minute walk up road and the meal and atmosphere was good. 2nd evening we decided to dine in restaurant, which happened to be a curry buffet, however could not tell you how this tasted as looked terrible so decided to eat off menu instead. The choice on the menu was small, very expensive and unappetising so decided to eat at Toby carvery around the corner which was ok as we were not that hungry. The only downside was the bar lounge area. Although comfortable, the staff seemed disorganised. Plenty of staff floating around being directed by who I think was the restaurant bar manager, but they all seemed to be on edge and moving but not really doing much. If you wanted a drink you always had to go to bar and waited quite some time to get served, and then they always put service charge on your bill, which I thought was very cheeky considering there was no service and this was poor.
