Great hotel close to Watford City Centre

Posted 12-Jun-2016
Pros: Friendly staff, spotlessly clean room, nice food, comfortable beds new bedding, nice modern decor
Cons: The only thing I thought could have been a bit better was the shower, there wasnt much water pressure but it could just have been our shower.
Location: Great shopping centre and Warner Bros Studios less than 10 mins away.
Overnight stay so we could visit Warner Bros Studio Tour

Posted 19-May-2016
Pros: Room size, cleanliness, location
Location: Top Golf
This was a very convenient location for my friends and I to stay whilst having a party at Top Golf, the hotel was nice, clean and the rooms were spacious and had all the amenities we required.

2 parents, 2 children. Boys in 1 bed, girls in the other. Sofa bed surprisingly comfy. Tight parking spaces. Wide choice at breakfast.

Is this a Hilton Hotel

Posted 19-Apr-2016
Considering its part of the "Hilton" chain, and it's gone through renovation, we weren't too impressed with the room (it was a junior suite). It was pretty cramped for a family of 4. The bathroom was too small and felt a bit dirty, there wasn't even a working vent for the steam to clear.

We stayed for two very comfortable nights. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were excellent and very good value for money. The only real disappointment was that the swimming pool and sauna which were on offer in the welcome brochure and on the website had been closed down last year.

ok for a stop over

Posted 06-Apr-2016 on Hotels
Booked this hotel as a stop over, arriving around 8 on a Saturday night. Checked in no problem staying in a junior suite with my family, on the third floor. Making our way up the the room we took the stairs as the lift was full of staff delivering room service. Our Room was on the opposite side of the hotel and seemed a very long way from the lift/stairwell. Found or room to be well presented clean and tidy. Sofa bed made up already for the kids. No issue with the heating, lighting etc. Bathroom again clean and tidy. We had no problem in the room at all until it came to going to bed, the bed was so hard and uncomfortable the mattress may as well have been made out of concrete. I know everyone has a personal preference, but this was ridiculous. Definitely not a good nights sleep, and to top this off after a fitful nights sleep we were woken by the alarm clock at 620 which had obviously been set by the previous occupant. Breakfast however was very good providing a Good selection of hot and cold food.
