Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts amazing! Room clean and spacious. Would have preferred slightly softer bed!

Pros: Great staff and great location for Harry Potter
We stayed one night, all I can say the staff are fantastic. Service was above and beyond. We stayed in a family room, perfect for us. We would stay here again.

Web site shows hotel with a pool so I booked as I swim most mornings and they have not had one for 2 years shocking!!!

Terrible rooms - nice breakfast

When we booked a room st the hotel the photos were totally misleading and if I hadn't already paid for it I wouldn't have stayed there ever. The outside is falling apart, the corridors are full of dirty plates and smells of stale smoke. The room was tiny and not like any junior suite I have ever stayed in. The shower water came out in every direction other than on you. Breakfast was really good in a nice restaurant so it's such a shame that the rest of the hotel is so run down and tired. It's also a shame that the photos the jotelcgove out are extremely misleading.

Good location for Harry Potter

Shower had no cold water, just scolding hot, spent 30 mins trying to get it to work, even had my dad come from his room to try and fix it. In the end rang reception, they said could have another room but it wouldn't be ready for 30 minutes. In the end spent so long trying to sort out my sister didn't have time for a shower and I hadn't enough time to get ready properly. Bathroom was very dated- bath panel damp looking and wilted. Had booked 2 rooms- one twin and one double. The double was absolutely tiny. Rooms didn't have air conditioning- was the hottest weekend of the year so minimal sleep with tiny windows that barely opened. For the rather large amount of money we paid definitely not up to scratch- have stayed at a few Hiltons, none of which have been good so will be staying away from now.

Good location with easy access to bus

Hotel room was nice with king size bed. No AC but can provided. Had a gym which was a plus for me. Room was clean but not sure why I had to keep reminding staff to clean my room and it was already after 2pm. Maybe they were busy. Staff helpful especially kitchen staff. Great assortment for breakfast.

IF ONLY things look like they do in the Pictures

Pros: the breakfast was good
Cons: refit off all the rooms like the one i was in
Location: London is only a short train away
We had High Expectations for this as we looked at the Pictures of the hotel and was very happy to pay more to get what we thought would be nicer. What a let down !!! As we approached the room the smell of DAMP hit us both at the same time. as we entered the room we saw that this is not like the pictures but a tired looking room maybe its the room they have available when the rest of the rooms are full but i wish i had not payed more for this dirty Dirty old room with a shower that was more of a drizzle than a shower.

Pros: Friendliness, cleanliness and spacious.
Cons: 4 bar items on menu that I tried to order were not available. Also waited 2 hours for my food in room to arrive but this was removed from bill.
Location: N/A as on business
Room fine, hotel staff were lovely and friendly. Man in bar who helped get my drink was exceptional. He was greeting people as they come in and showing them to a seat and then getting drinks for them.
