Wasnt to happy about the kids matteress being on the floor and all cramped up in one room only big enough for 2 people not 4
The Ridings is a charming converted stable block, quiet and set back.
All the staff were fantastic. My only concern, which I feel I need to discuss is the car parking area. As a female working away from home, and getting back the hotel late at night due to work commitments, I feel that the car park could be better lit. It is very dark and visibility is poor around ...
Modern and comfortable rooms. Excellent staff. We had a great stay again.
Nice setting. Rooms very nice and clean. Free parking and a nice breakfast.
The staff were very friendly around the whole hotel. Very informative at the reception desk. We had an event on and the whole evening was very pleasant. Breakfast was great!
Really friendly staff, nicely decorated, good food. I would ask for a room as far away from the lifts next time as it impacted on my families sleep both nights hearing them go up and down all the time.
Hotel was very good for price, was very clean and a nice quiet area
Modern, clean, comfortable bed, welcoming reception staff, location was good but it was not possible to walk from Hatfield station because of the busy roads in between though the distance was just 1.1 mile
Visitors make their way to Hertfordshire at all times of year, to explore some of the most attractive historic sites in the country and enjoy the beautiful and multi-faceted landscapes of this intriguing region. Despite being a rural idyll for the most part, characterised by tracts of ancient forests, open meadows, sweeping hills and winding river valleys, Hertfordshire is less than half an hour from London. This makes it popular with travelling executives attending meetings and conferences in towns like St. Albans and Hertford. As a result, business hotels in Hertfordshire are to be found right across the county, specialising in meeting the particular needs of scores of busy executives!
Business reps on the move need to be able to check in and out quickly. They also need to be able to quickly access high tech communications equipment, to keep in touch with colleagues and clients alike. Flexibility is of paramount importance, and Hertfordshire business hotels have the services and facilities needed to meet these demands. At business hotels in Hertfordshire such as the Radisson Blu London Stansted Airport and Ramada Hatfield, travelling executives and reps have all they need at their fingertips, with private meeting and conference facilities fitted out with all the latest kit. A high-speed broadband internet service is normally provided in the guestrooms as well as public parts of the hotel, and an express check-in and check-out lobby service is a common facility.
Many business hotels in Hertfordshire, for example the Cromwell Hotel Stevenage and Holiday Inn Hemel Hempstead, offer a range of luxury facilities to their business clients. Travelling executives nowadays often expect the likes of an indoor pool and fitness facilities, as keeping in prime physical shape is needed for such a demanding and often stressful job. Massage treatments are increasingly common, and travelling company reps have a wide choice of business hotels in Hertfordshire, often near conference centres in places like St. Albans. The road and rail systems are excellent in this region, and the proximity of London and the airport at Stansted make Hertfordshire ideal for business.
