Rooms were lovely and very clean, the area was quiet but within a busy area around a 1 minute walk away, just round the corner. Only downside was the stairs we had to walk up lots of stairs to our room each time!

I liked the the spacious rooms. The bar is a great place to relax just by the pool. The garden is a lovely quiet area to chill out and relax.

We arrived after midnight and the reception person provided plate meal for both of us, its so nice of him. Every staff very helpful and always have smile on their face including cleaning staff. Breakfast & dinner was nice have a lot of choices. Bed was very comfortable, amazing sound proof, could not hear a single noise from outside e.g. car noise etc. Nice sea & pool view, balcony was little bit small expected more bigger. Easy fast check in & out. Have safe, fridge, tea and expresso maker. Free welcome fruite and expresso. Everything was near few mins walk to bars, clubs, restaurants, beach, shops, excursions,and bus stop. Excellent location.

Thought the staff were insensitive as they kept emailing me about my stay even though brits are banned from the country. Then said I couldn't get a refund until Ive had my voucher for 18 months and not used it. Also terrible customer service from Expedia. Will not book with them again. Been waiting 3 weeks for an invoice for my insurance

like: location, friendly staff dislike: first room was dusty (on top of the cups, coffee machine). but when we told the reception, he was very helpful and changed to another room for us. food was ok. we expected more Greek style, but the first night we had chinese buffet as the main and taste was not great. Breakfast was ok, adequate (sausage, egg, beans...etc). Teas, coffees and juices were only available for breakfast, not dinner (unless u pay for them).

The hotel is in a good location close to bus stop number 22 and to the shore and many restaurants and shops. However, the room looks much better in the photos than in reality. There is a green light above the door that cannot be turned off even at night. The check-in process is slow. The staff are not so friendly. The food (breakfast and dinner) is so-so, but the fruit (esp. watermelons) is good. Overall, the experience was ok but not as good as expected.

The property was nice enough but this is not a four star hotel by American standards. The AC doesnt work well in 90degree heat inside the room. The gym opens at 10am not 6am! The breakfast was really good and the pool is too small.

We had been out one night so we had the do not disturb sign on the door because we wanted to sleep in and the cleaner was banging on the door trying to get in for at least half an hour while we were sleeping which woke us up. The cleaner had been in one day and did a great job as always but she had left a half eaten plum on our things which has left a stain. Not impressed.

Great hotel - great location
Very friendly and welcoming staff - the room in the main building was spotlessly clean and modern decor. The hotel pool wasn’t too busy - with funky music and comfy bean bags to lie on. The food was tasty and was different each day - I really couldn’t fault this hotel or the staff. I will definitely be back :-)

A jewel of a find.
From arrival, staff were very accommodating and friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Rooms comfortable modern and clean. Public areas very modern and stylish. Food better than expected. pool and bar area very chilled and comfy bean bag beds to sunbathe. Centrally located between main shopping street and beach so everything short distance. Lovely beach front restaurants close by. The only thing is there is currently building work very close by which means it’s noisy from 8am til around 1 but it quietens down in the afternoon and didn’t spoil our stay. Would DEFINATELY return and thank the staff for such a pleasant stay

This hotel is ideally located for the beach and amenities, but it was the hotel standard and staff that made our stay wonderful. The hotel was immaculate the food great and all the stafff bent over backwards to make sure your stay was the best it could be. We would certainly return and recommend this hotel as the perfect place to stay with very high standards

המלון חמוד, חדרים נאים, אבל,זהו לא מלון 4 כוכבים!! זה מלון 3 כוכבים לכל היותר. מדובר ב3 ביניינים נמוכים שעברו הסבה ושיפוץ למלון, הם במרחק דקה הליכה אחד מהשני. חדרים חדישים, אבל כל הפסיליטי של 4 כוכבים, כמו מרכך , החלפת מצעים על בסיס יומי ואמבטיה-לא קיימים בו.היתה גם פעם שלא היו חמים. הארוחות לטעמי לא התאימו לרמה של 4 כוכבים, והיו דלות. ממוקם די במרכז,גישה נוחה לחוף. בגדול המלון חמוד אבל לא שווה תמחור של 4 כוכבים..ו

Although the rooms are fine, there are some major deficiencies that I will not stay here again. The rooms are small, but fine, but it is the small details that I will not endorse this hotel. They are not in the hospitality industry as they nickel and dime you for everything. 1) They will charge you for every small item. I broke a small cup in the hotel and they were going to charge me 2 euros for this. I contested this and so far they held off charging me. 2) They charge you 1000 Euros for staying late!! I have never heard of that before 3) Their key system is antiquated and can be an emergency hazard. 4) They indicate that this is a four star property. The best it is 3 stars. The property is a hodge podge of various properties that are not tied in to the overall property. The positives were that it is very close to the beach and close to the shopping area. Parking is also generally available on the street.

For the negative details you mentioned, charging of breaking things is true (although we didn't charge you for the broken cup, and we are not going to charge you!), and the various buildings also true (the hotel is aparted of 4 buildings, all within the same street, around 100 m. approx.). But we never charge 1000 € for late check-out! There is a cost (around 30-50 € - it depends on the month), and the Guests are always informed ahead, if it is available. For the key system, we didn't actually understand what you mean "antiquated, and emergency hazard". It is a simple card or key for the room entrance! Anyway, we hope we will have the chance to welcome you again, and offer you a better service! Thank you!

Great hotel, pool area great and close to beaches
The hotel was great. The rooms were well equipped and cleaned every day. The breakfast was great and dinners there was mostly the same food every day so we did eat out most of the week for variety. The pool area was great with plenty of sun loungers available every day. The staff were lovely and we really enjoyed our stay.

Great location and staff
We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was small but we did book the cheapest one as we knew we wouldn't be there too much, so it wasn't too bad, it was clean and the bed was comfy! The pool is small but we really enjoyed lounging there and the pool bar amenities and staff are terrific. It's about 30 seconds walk to the strip which has lots of shops and bars, and around 30 seconds walk in the other direction to the gorgeous beach. There are some fantastic local restaurants. We didn't realise our booking at Harma was half board, but we only ate there a few times. Would be better a la carte rather then buffet, we preferred going to restaurants rather than eating there. When we left, our flight wasn't until the evening and we were offered towels to shower after going in the sea and the pool which was great!

Not what I hoped for
When we arrived in our room the smell of some poisonous/antiseptic/cleaning type spray was so overwhelming I couldn't breath and it took ages to become breathable after opening the balcony door. There were some hairs on the bed. The room looked nothing like the pictures. But I actually probably wouldn't have written a bad review if this didn't happen: We asked how much it was to take a cab to another part of Crete and were told it was 30 euro. We had decided not to hire a car so we accepted that taking cabs would be a cost. When we arrived at our destination the cab driver said it was 70 euro. We made him call the hotel and the hotel confirmed that they had told us 30 euro, they admitted they made a mistake, but the cab driver forced us to pay the full amount (and we had to face that uncomfortable and heated argument right before dinner on our 10 year anniversary) and, of course, we had to pay the same for our trip back. The hotel refused to cover the excess. We ended up spending 80 more euro than we were willing to. I was completely disgusted by the lack of responsibility the hotel took.

About the misunderstanding with the taxi we called, we wish to mention again that we always call the taxi center, and they send us any taxi available. There is no commission for the Hotel and the Reception, in any case! Now, about the price, as our Staff admitted, probably the Receptionist that called the taxi center did not hear well the price on phone (or was not told the correct price??). There was no intention to mislead you in any way (because there was no reason to do so!), and certainly there was no intention to ruin your special night out! Always, we advise our Guests to confirm the cost of any transfer as soon as they get into the cab, in order to avoid similar arguments, for both the Guests and the Hotel. Nevertheless, the price you paid was the correct one, you were not stolen, but, as you mentioned, too, you were not aware of it in advance. Once more, we apologize for the incident, and, as long as that was the only negative point of your stay with us, we look forward to accommodating you again in the future! Thank you!

Hotel was modern, clean and lovely. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our week drinking cocktails by the pool in gorgeous sunshine. Staff were friendly and accommodating and the facilities were great. Only slight downside was we didn’t have a balcony which would have been nice. The main road the hotel is on is busy but down on the beachfront it’s quiet and gorgeous with amazing restaurants with seaside views. Hotel is in a great location.
