Convenient and clean
The Hote Olympic is in a good location in the center of Heraklion but not too noisy. The room was very clean, and the choice from the buffet breakfast was good.

Great hotel. Modern. Walkable to everything. Good breakfast buffet. Also, for the 2021 crowd, there is a PCR testing place right around corner, like 1 minute walk. So convenient for on your way out. Would definitely stay here again.

Hard beds for low price
Hotel was very well situated near the old town square & the harbour. Valet parking took that challenge away. Two small elevators with only one working on arrival. Key didn’t work initially but the porter was great help. Room was adequate but no view and was of an old delapitated building even on the 4th floor. Beds were twin and hard European style not good for us. Poor pillows as well. Breakfast was good and complete although crowded. Hotel has 131 rooms so lots of people. Check our was efficient. Price was good however but I’m always willing to pay more for comfort. There was a nice rooftop pool and bar too

Olympic- reasonable, convenient in Heraklion
Olympic was a good find in downtown Heraklion on short notice. Reasonably priced, it’s in a great location, near a walking street with an el Greco exhibit nearby and activity even on a Sunday, which is a tough day for travelers. Free breakfast was o.k. Room was comfortable and had CNN on T.V., not standard with a mid-priced hotel.

Nice hotel, good codition but the room could be better maintained. Nothing missing. Really good for its value Soap is inneficient and more suitable for public toilets.. towels should be thrown away after a few years of usage..

The location was quite good. Not far from the marina and the main shops and restaurants. This was definitely not a 3 star hotel however. The beds were very uncomfortable and the decor was very tired in the rooms. We paid around £80 for a one night stay but I would not stay here again.

Great Location!
This hotel is located right in the heart of town. Very convenient to shopping, eating and sightseeing. The lobby is very updated - but the rooms are older. Beds are typical: not uncomfortable, but you won't sink into a deep sleep right away. The included breakfast was a plus. Also very quick ride to the HER airport and ferry port.

Decent hotel in center of Heraklion
Hotel was comfortable, but space was a bit tight. That is expected for the middle of a city like Heraklion. Close to restaurants, museums, nightlife, and historical structures. Decor was aging a bit. Room key stopped working and we needed security to let us in twice. Would have been very inconvenient if we had been staying there more than one day. Otherwise, it was a reasonable value for what we paid.

Lovely staff
We had a short stay at the Olympic as we were due to catch the ferry to Santorini but this hotel was in an excellent location. The staff were lovely, especially the receptionist Eirini. She was very pleasant and couldn't be more obliging. I had a better experience at this hotel than I have had at other 5* hotels!

Nice and clean rooms, close to the airport and shops. Enjoyed the breakfast that was included in the price. The staff were friendly and accommodating when we needed them. Would recommend it to others. Well priced for what you get.

Perfect hotel for a central stay in Heraklion
Great location, ten minute walk to the harbour and very close to both bus stations. Clean and comfortable room - everything you need, although the shower was a bit awkward to handle. Staff seemed a bit unfriendly and too busy to deal with us, but this hardly ruined our overall experience. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay in Heraklion.

Handy position but great value.
This hotel was much better than appeared on the photo and as we approached it, with renovation works taking up the square at its entrance. It was at the top of the market street which ran down through the main square to the harbour.Inside we were pleased with the facilities and a very good breakfast.

The breakfast served each day was excellent as were the serving staff. The desk clerks were very helpful with our questions. There is a pedestrian shopping street right next door which was enjoyable.

Nice hotel in central Heraklion.
Good room. Has been renovated a little since I last stayed 10 years ago. Wifi needs to be upgraded... not strong enough and too congested. Good service. Great location.
