The lane is pedestrian-friendly and offers a very authentic experience of Burgenland's wine culture.Couples looking for a romantic and distinctive getaway will find staying right in the Kellergasse ideal. The best times to go to Heiligenbrunn are during the shoulder seasons of May, June, September, and early October. These months offer pleasant weather, with warm days superb for exploring the vineyards and villages without the intense heat of mid-summer. You'll find the countryside at its most beautiful, with lush greenery in spring and vibrant colours in autumn. It's also a great time to experience local wine festivals, which often take place when the weather is mild and the harvest is approaching or has just finished. For those interested in wine tasting and outdoor activities like cycling or walking, these periods are ideal. The vineyards are active, and many 'Buschenschänken' (traditional wine taverns) are open, offering local specialities and wine.
