"Perfect find fir a few nights away with the bonus of parking in Keswick!! Hotel was beautiful and certainly above the ‘stars’ given. Bedrooms were massive and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were amazing and plenty of it. Some decor dated bit the staff certainly made up for any of that. .. Kind, professional, knowledgable, engaging abd with a sense of humour. …. Certainly a credit to Hotel. Hotel has recently been modernised bit nit lost its Victorian charm. Definitely worth a visit "

"There is no lift in this hotel. It’s an old Manor House. All clean very spacious rooms , beautiful views. Breakfast was delicious. Very dog friendly "

"Oh my what a hidden gem for families. Massive rooms. Tennis court and massive pool. Decent breakfast choice. Didn’t stay for dinner so can’t comment. Would love to return "

"Even though the hotel is under refurbishment it did not detract from our stay. Room was nice and the food was excellent and great value. Staff were very pleasant. "

"The hotel is situated high above Keswick, so even though it's about a 15 minute walk into town, be mindful that it's a steep climb back again! The breakfasts are wonderful and well organised, the rooms are very comfortable, clean and well-appointed. There's a lovely terrace outside, so if you have good weather, it's a welcome space to just sit and enjoy the view. If I came back to Keswick, I'd definitely be booking to stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"Bed amazingly comfortable, food good, room amazing but needs some freshing up on walls(some scuff marks on paint). Would recommend for an overnight stay and will be back at some point."
