Parking stalls are a bit tight if you have a full sized vehicle. They weren’t fully booked because of renovations on the 3rd floor, so we were lucky I suppose. There were a lot of stalls available during our stay. Overall it was a nice stay. My family and I loved the continental breakfast in the mornings. And the staff were friendly. I would stay here again when I visit next time.

From the time we arrived until the time we left the staff was extremely friendy and helpful. The hotel and grounds were kept very clean. Only complaint was the noise the last couple of nights we were there. There was a large group of younger people up late partying and making an excessive amount of noise. Both nights I notified the front desk and nothing was done to resolve the issue. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay.

Refrigerator was non functional and was needed to keep medication cool. Had to store the medication with staff downstairs. For the extremely high price charged for the room it was expected to have the appliance working!

In the heart of Kailua-Kona walking district. Friendly staff. Sufficient basic amenities like breakfast included, shampoo, blow dryer, AC. We stayed comfortably one night with 5 adults in the room as we had just arrived in the evening and did not want to drive the long distance at night to the Volcano area. Good value for an expensive region. Would stay again for a night or two.

We stayed here for a night since our flight got in later in the evening. The facility felt to be in a safe location with lots of entertainment and dining in the proximity. There is overnight car parking fee but it was less than $20. Plenty of car parking. A continental warm breakfast was served. Check in and check out was fast and convenient. There was a pool and weight room but we did not use it.

Very unhappy with Expedia. Tried canceling my reservation through both Expedia and Holiday Express with out success. Both told me to contact the other which I did. Payment went through Expedia but they would not respond or refund the payment. This I tried to do two months before the date of reservation. I will never use Expedia again and will share my experience with others.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only stayed one night but the room was very large, quiet and felt safe! Some things showing its age but overall a good place to stay. Breakfast included to boot!

Took us a couple tries to find the right street for the hotel. Great bed and shower. I thought the rook could have used better lighting...the lamps just weren't enough.

The disappointment is with Expedia, not the hotel itself. I had booked a room for 5 adults, but when we checked in there were two queen beds, with no provision for the fifth person, who literally had to sleep on the floor.

I liked the updated rooms. I liked the breakfast offered for the most part. The staff was friendly and helpful. My mom needed first aid and we got what we needed from the front desk. The pool area was nice. Parking was convenient.

The pictures and descriptions made it sound like it was on the beach- we booked an ocean view but got a view of the parking lot. The room was big. And clean so over all it was good , especially since we are only here one night.

Basic Place to stay,
Basic motel. good location, close to waterfront and the Trolley. Relatively cheap by Kona standards. Decent breakfast included in price. No view on lower floor. Good shower and comfortable bed, clean.

Convenient and staff friendly. They were installing an air conditioner on the roof and we spent one night wothout air. Our window in Room 140 opened into back parking lot. Room was so damp that moisture condensed on floor. Room smells very musty. We were comped parking but not anything for our room.

The cost of the room was expensive, but hey it’s Hawai’i. We needed the room for just one night as our flight arrived late. Hotel was fine, just not worth the money we paid.

The staff was so friendly and very helpful. They staff all had smiles. The breakfast staff did an amazing job keeping up wirh everything. The pool was cleaned every morning. It was very clean at the hotel
