Location was good but know that you are on ground floor with people walking by that look directly into the apartment. Wasn't that clean and paint was peeling off bathroom ceiling. Last guest left open bottle of prescription antibiotics by bedside- kinda gross. Hot tub was lukewarm and dirty- a disappointment after a long flight and day of hiking. Was not worth the price but usable if it is a last option for you.

Great location in central Reykjavik for amenities. A bit of a walk from reception to whichever building you are in. No drama. Rooms well equipped and comfortable. All you need.

These globes are super cute and in a lovely area. Unfortunately, that was about all we could say. They aren’t as private as we hoped; you could clearly see into the others’ globes if the curtains were open. And if the curtains are closed, then you lose the point of staying in a place like this. Additionally, the outlets and lights were not working in the kitchen and bed area, leaving the only working outlets to the entryway. The front door did not have a spare key, like our instructions noted. The front door is all glass with no option to cover it, so you could clearly see into the unit. When we contacted the staff about the malfunctioning outlets and lights, we never heard back aside from a “try resetting the breaker.” We tried that twice, for the record. It’s been three weeks and we still haven’t heard from the property, nor have they responded to Hotels.com. Overall not a location we would repeat; unfortunately we couldn’t stay there the whole reservation.
