Stayed here for one night and was pleasantly surprised, the room was a nice size for the price we payed and breakfast was included in the price and it was lovely! It's location is near the the train station and town centre. The only downside is the noise, as the windows aren't double glazed you can hear everything outside, but other than that it was a lovely place to stay.
I chose this hotel because the description included bar/lounge but if there is a bar there, I couldn't find it. Fortunately, the JD Bistro Bar is 30 seconds' walk away and Thursday is jazz night. Hmm, nice.
Everything else was as described but the 'coffee machine' in my room (5) was a kettle and I couldn't get the wi-fi to work.
Nine am was too late for breakfast at the hotel, but Hoagies Reloaded opposite the back of the hotel did me proud for £5!

I wanted to stay near Battle and have access to a quality health club. I spent two great nights there and really appreciated the friendliness of the staff. They were doing renovations in the public areas which was a bit inconvenient but not a major issue. The breakfast buffet was OK although choices were limited.
The gym is great, there's a golf club next door and I had a great back massage. Overall a good package and I got what I wanted from the stay.

Good location for seafront, shops, theatre. Large comfortable room (room1). Clean enough, few hairs in shower and a bit dusty on top of wardrobe, and light fittings but ok for 1 night. Road was closed the night we stayed which caused us problems getting to the guest house but that was not the owners fault. Big TV and nice little fridge in room so we took stuff for breakfast. Tea and coffee facilities but Steralised milk pots were awful. As room has a fridge it would be a nice touch if fresh milk was available. i would use again but only for a night or two.
I was looking for a short break for myself & the children. I would highly recommend No.46 as the family room we had was immaculately clean, modern, & comfortable with every need catered for.
The owner was very friendly, knowledgeable of the area & went above and beyond to make our stay a success.
We explored everything Hastings had to offer for young families and used the hotel as a base to drive to places further afield, such as historical Battle Abbey and the beautiful beach at Camber Sands.

With architecture ranging from Medieval to Victorian, Hastings sits on the coast of East Sussex. The court house is said to be built in the 1450s and Hastings castle, with ruins of its cloistered chapel and dungeons under the North Gate, looks down on the town and pier. Explore the narrow streets in Old Town or take a stroll through the parks, gardens, and museums filled with historic treasures.
