This home sits on a spacious piece of property on a quiet, dead-end road, making it especially well-suited to families with children. Use the provided bikes (one adult-size, two kid-size) to ride half a mile to Earle Road Beach each morning, where you can swim in the warm waters of Nantucket Sound. You'll also be half a mile from Bud's Go-Karts (with bumper boats, putt-putt, and trampolines as well), and less than a mile from shops and restaurants in the center of Harwich Port. Stroll home from the beach in the afternoon to rinse off in the outdoor shower, hang your swimsuits on the clothesline, and stash the provided beach chairs for tomorrow. Light the gas grill for an early dinner, watch your kids play tag in the grass, and sit down to eat at the patio table at sunset. Yet the house has also been thoughtfully updated with refinished hardwood floors, a new ceiling, new lighting, an updated bathroom, and all new beds and mattresses. It was also extraordinarily expensive for what it offers. The house has seen some wear and tear and needs to be fixed up before it should welcome guests or be priced lower. Very comfortable with new/modern furniture, but still keeping the cape charm. The location is incredible, walking distance to beaches and on a very quiet street. Bikes, beach chairs, towels all at the house. Bonus, basketball hoop in the driveway, which our son loved. Loved the outdoor shower (and fantastic water pressure). Beds were very comfortable.
