"The location of the hotel is excellent with stunning views. Hotel needs a little bit of work here and there. Cleanliness is acceptable. Staff friendly."

"The room was spacious and clean, bath robes and slippers, complementary drinks, tea and coffee machine in the room. The bed was very comfortable and big and the shower pressure was amazing. They have a small spa, sometimes there's no one in there and you can have it all to yourself. It was a charming place and probably one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Special thanks to the staff, who are caring and always happy to help. Cannot wait to visit again."

"Beautiful hotel with lovely views of the river. Staff were helpful and really friendly. The restaurant was lovely. Right in the centre of town and near the train station. Would definitely stay again."

"Road "rough" on lead up to hotel and does need addressing. Couldn't fault staff and quality of food. I travel for business and stay in many hotels and this one is on my returns list."

Woodlands Guest House Windermere

"Lovely property, breakfast good, lots of choice. Walls a bit thin, could hear person next door snoring. Windows were heavy and propped open with wood, husband had to lift up to remove the wood. Room was clean. To turn the taps on, they were the wrong way round Shower pipe was leaking but still had good pressure. Would stay again"
