Reasonable hotel for one night stay but plenty of room for improvement. Uneventful menu with high prices should be changed as there are no restaurants nearby. The staff could be more welcoming and informative.

The permanent staff are what made our brief stay. Positioned in a super spot near to Millennium bridge and Quays area, the hotel is warm and welcoming. Our second floor room overlooking the river was small but very comfortable with a fantastic mattress (important for a good night's sleep). Decor is a little dated but clean and fine. Our main issue was the kitchen; we'd ordered food in the evening but when my husband's lasagne came out, the top was lukewarm and when I poked my finger in it was still icy cold at the bottom, quite a health risk. I have to say the staff couldn't have been more apologetic and kind - the meal costs were fully refunded and we did not have to pay for our on site parking. We will return but it did put a dampener on our evening after we'd spent a lovely time watching and listening to Dark Side of the Moon at the Life Science Centre.

Room was lovely, beds so comfortable. Very clean. A bit more attention to detail in room needed. One of the curtains was hanging off at the end, stain on wall beside bed and bathroom quite dated. But this did not affect our stay.

Very basic rooms. Shower curtains feel old fashioned, weren’t very clean. Paper thin walls with minimum sound proofing, so most certainly not a place for a light sleeper. Underwhelming hotel, wouldn’t recommend.
