The room smelt very damp due to the shower room not having a decent ventilation system. The smell was very off putting and made it very hard to sleep at night. The curtain rail was broken (hanging off the wall) which mean that the curtain could not be closed properly. My partner managed to fix it. The towels were old (however very clean) with some holes in them. The room was advertised as having a bath, however the room we received only had a shower, which is disappointing. The breakfast served was nice and the staff very friendly. The location is great.

Clean and comfortable with quirky artwork around the building. Nothing not to like. We always stay there when visiting family in Bude.

Nice hotel.
2nd time of staying. Hotel nice & in good location if you want a quite time. About 1/2 mile from centre of Bude. Only disappointment was the restuarant was not open & only bar meals.

This was our 4th hotel on our travels around Cornwall and the hebasca was our last. The reviews were superb and I agree on every aspect regarding decor, breakfast, friendly welcoming. However, we were so disappointed with the size of the room (213). Our booking was amedium sized room

Modern and very friendly. Staff were so very nice and helpful. Restaurant menu is limited but so very tasty especially the range of steaks recently added to the choices. Breakfast was exceptionally good with lots of choice including gluten free bread and cereals. We spent most evenings in the bar serving mocktails and cocktails.

The hotel was really amazing nice and clean and comfortable the staff was amazing great service really happy was recommended to stay here by a friend sadly a family member passed away so had to leave early and staff was soo goood offered a refund which I didn't expect definitely me and my wife will be back in the summer thank you guys!!!

Breakfast is a must, I had it everyday and each day it was great, the restaurant was under refurb when I went but I think this would be great too. The location relative to the town centre and the beach was great and the hotel was just what you'd want. If I go back I will stay here again.

Style and decor were unique and interest. Staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. The only drawback was that the kitchen was not fully functional resulting in a reduced menu.

Beautiful hotel , very clean and modern. The staff were also lovely. Great food at the hotel and the cocktail bar was an added bonus. The location of the hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance to the golf course , the beach and beautiful coastal walks. Can't wait to go back !

Nice hotel, however they didn’t have enough hypo-allergenic bedding with the hotel being fully booked, made the first night very uncomfortable being allergic to the feather bedding! Also the restaurant in the hotel was closed the days we were there with no real explanation, luckily the restaurant they sent us to (10 min walk) was nice. Night receptionist was as helpful as could be.

Well maintained and comfortable
This is a friendly well maintained and comfortable Hotel. Breakfasts are high quality and served to order with excellent eggs. The restaurant is closed for dinner/lunch and getting in an out of the bath is tricky due to design of the bathroom. Location is fine with a 10 min walk to the beach.

The hotel has been refurbished to a very high standard, quirky modern and clean. The breakfast was lovely, flexible to for your requirements. A quick walk from the beach. On site parking which is a big bonus to me. There were a couple of issues which were rectified to the best of the hotels abilitie, however I didn’t recall an actual apology from the member of staff which I thought was a shame.

The staff were pleasant and welcoming. Disappointed that the restaurant was closed as this was part of the reason for booking this hotel. The room was very comfortable with a kingside bed which was great.

Hotel very clean staff very good breakfast excellent but my first impression when we checked in ,I used the reseption toilet on the lady toilets there was a big poster of a man waring nothing but a short skirt I thought what kind of hotel this is ,my room was very hot open the very smoll balcony it was very messy and very old and dirty we closed it straight away we went out looking to by a fan but we couldn’t find one we phoned reception and asked if they can get us a fan she told us that she be able to get us one when we went back to the hotel the reception told us that she put the fan in the room but she had to open the balcony I didn’t want the balcony open because it wasn’t very nice so I asked if they had a better room and the girl changed to another better room which was much better the carpets going up the staires and landing badly worn out does need changing

Every single staff member looked miserable, no atmosphere at all in the place, room and bathroom newish and clean. Room very small one person ok but two people wud be a squash. Breakfast was mediocre but adequate. Parking easy.

We had a wonderful time, just a quiet get away for my partner and I. The hotel decor was bright and funky, Maggie the lady working the evening we arrived was so warm and nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable, clean and just equipped enough for an overnight stay, we had gone for a midrange option. The evening meal was lovely in the Asian grill and the shot glass puddings worth a try. We will definitely consider a return trip.
