Had a lovely overnight, last minute stay at the hotel and it was lovely. Rooms were clean, lovely decorated and quiet. Staff helpful. Bar and restaurant stunning. Would absolutely book again.

Staff are exceptional; friendly, helpful and polite. The rooms are warm and comfy and the food isl very tasty. We come at least once every year and hope to do so for many years to come.

In general my stay was fine, there didn't appear to be any quiet lounge area and some of the staff seemed a little indifferent to guests. The hotel is a good base for exploring the old centr of Harrogate

Really lovely friendly staff. Lovely modern clean room. Great location and easy parking and Yummy breakfast too. Wonderful stay and great location for the Convention Centre. Room was lovely clean, well furnished with a comfy bed. Breakfast wasnt great the toast machine was just burning the bread poor none cooked breakfast selection and it just wasnt worth the £12 pp. Will stay again but venture out for breakfast.

Not the trip we expected
Decided to stay with my wife for our anniversary, our room wasn't in the hotel but their flats next door which was disappointing. Room was OK, but not what expected given the pictures when booking. The hotel also charged me (twice!) for the room on the card I used when checking in, which was slightly less than we already paid via Hotels.com, as they said the didn't get the money from Hotels.com. So I paid for the room 3 times... not a great experience. No offer of compensation for this costly mistake.

What I love most about the White Hart is the proximity to everything, the local vibe and the pub and restaurant that are so lively and fun. The staff is absolutely amazing

This hotel was ‘okay’ but definitely not worth the price. If you are parking on their car park be extremely mindful that the spaces are ridiculously narrow; a car parked next to us and we measured the gap to be 24cm. We couldn’t get into the car and we noticed scratches on the wing mirror. The hotel room was extremely dark; hardly any of the lights worked. It was really cold throughout the night too. We paid £170 for the night, it was NYE so understandably a bit pricier than usual. However, the facilities were shocking and seriously outdated. Not worth the money.

Fantastic stay in a lovely Hotel. Clean and very friendly. Food was excellent along with the service received. It gets really busy in the bar so book in at restaurant in advise as you still get the same menu and drinks

Whilst clean overall, it was a little run down with the ceiling appearing a little patchy in places. The room was also smaller than expected. The bathroom had a faint lingering smell of urine.the carpets and bed seemed clean and the bed was comfortable.

Had a lovely time here the room was next door over in seperate building with seperate bathroom out in hallway . The rooms where very clean bed was very firm had great sleep. Shops pubs restaraunts very close by. Had few drinks at the hotel outside even though weather was awful was very cosey outside with heaters and parasols :) the blues pub with live bands is really worth a visit just a short walk up road great atmosphere visited turkish baths also short walk away is well worth a visit 😁 carpark is back of hotel 15 pound overnight

Terrible experience. Charged twice. Initially they refused to refund one of the payments. Receptionist extremely rude. Lied that there wasn’t a manager on duty when there was. Rooms are extremely basic for the £456 paid for 2 nights. Extremely hot rooms, despite cooler temperatures outside. No water or fan provided. Tea cups were dirty. Shower weak and leaking.

Really enjoyed our stay. Had a large bright room with private external bathroom in building next door to the hotel. Initially concerned about this but did get used to! We were offered a swap but felt rooms available in main hotel were much smaller and darker. Fat badger was excellent and all staff very helpful. The hot breakfast buffet was really good but very limited options if you didn’t want this (no nice fruit, continental etc.). Only other suggestion is full length mirror in bedroom.

Great Hotel, great location! Would stay again!
Stay was really nice, hotel itself was really good, really clean and nice and modern, parking was a little steep at £15 for the overnight stay but other than that it was a great experience. The only slight downside for me was the room itself and the bathroom were very very warm, and I prefer a really cold room at night, even with the fan provided it was far too warm for me.

The upgraded room was good.
The original room we were given had the fan from the kitchen directly outside our window, which meant that we could not have the window open. In August without aircon, this is not ideal. We upgraded, it cost an extra £20 per night, and the new room was lovely
