The views are the kind that make you stop talking mid-sentence. We caught the sunset on a clear night and it did what good sunsets do: reminded you that some things still work the way they're supposed to.The stars out here are legitimate. No ambient wash killing the sky. If you're used to city nights, it'll reset your calibration on what dark actually looks like.Location is practical too — Jasper's a short run down the road. The square has what you need and a few things worth finding. Everything felt low-friction, which matters when the whole point of the trip is to not think about logistics.Good cabin. Great placement. Solid execution on the basics. That combination is rarer than it should be."

"Exterior room door was in bad condition, dented and cracked paint had been painted over. When I drove up and saw that I almost left. Inside the room had been remodeled and was clean, except it had a bare unfinished concrete floor that had once had carpet. The room was dark and lacking a light by the bed. The one redeeming thing was a great blanket rolled up on top of the bed. "
