The one bedroom that has a balcony (instead of a fourth wall) has an amazing view and great light. The screening for privacy made the space work as a third bedroom. The kitchen was fully stocked and the washer and dryer were very convenient on our second to last day. Enough space for everyone. The only downside was the person across the street with the hot rod, turning his engine on at 5am in the morning and running for an hour and carbon monoxide was nauseating that flowed into the master bedroom. I hesitated to write a review because I felt that no one would believe how perfect this place is. First of all, it was beautifully decorated inside, easy to find, the views were fantastic. Everything that we needed was already supplied when we got there and when we needed to go to the store, it was not far away, food places nearby. Very clean and also a garage for those rainy days. We’ve been coming to Harpswell for 10+ years as relatives live in town. We decided to rent a house this time around and this property was perfect. Dog friendly was a must - it’s well kept, has incredible views and is centrally located to Harpswell and Brunswick. House had a lovely deck and sunroom to enjoy coffee and enough space to have dinner either at the kitchen or dining room table. We briefly lost power (generator kicked on immediately) and reached out to Heather regarding the beeping alarm. She was quick to respond and pleasant to deal with. This is the only rental our family has returned to for a second stay. The house is just as immaculate and well kept as it looks in the photos. The setting is quiet and secluded, and the views from the deck are beautiful. The layout of the house is unique and architecturally interesting During this stay, we visited Bowdoin College Art Museum, The Maine Maritime Museum in Bath, and walked the trails at different parks and conservation lands in Harpswell. Stop off at the Town Offices for a trail map to find your favorite places. Our favorite places to eat out were: J R Maxwell and Mae's Cafe, both in Bath; Richard's and Joshua's, both in Brunswick. ##### Eric V. I have rented many properties over the years and owned a rental property myself for several years. This property is by far the best equipped rental property that I have ever seen. Every detail, down to flashlights on the night stands, have been provided. The house was very clean and the furnishings were all in excellent condition. The deck has several chairs and a table with seating for four overlooking the cove. The view is outstanding, especially at sunrise and sunset. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, a large refrigerator and many of the condiments and paper goods you will need. A floating dock is also provided that is ideal for fishing or boating. The rental company, Your Island Connection, LLC, was very helpful and prompt delivering all necessary information. This is a property that you are sure to love and I would highly recommend. ##### Thomas F. My wife liked the house overall. What we were most impressed with and this is a bit odd is the warmth of the total house. Being from the deep south, the thursday we arrived was the tail end of a Norht easter and is was cold.\[52 or so\] We had never been in a home with base board heat. I inspected the heating plant. My observation is thus. Why does not eveyone build like this? The pipes are all copper, even piping under the sinks. the pipe joins the stainless fixture linkage. No PVC here. Also the fittings were perfectly soldered, the elec lines were in perfect alignment and all switch/ circuit breakes labled. A lot time and thought went into this building. I enjoyed my time there.
