"This property was originally built, I would say in the 40s or 50s and has had no significant updating since that time. The bathroom has a new tub, sink and toilet however, the kitchenette cabinet was definitely original and maybe had been painted once since it was originally installed. This room was advertised as a kitchenette however, it had only two plates, which were dirty, two spoons and one knife, which were also dirty and one pot that no one should ever use for cooking. The handle for the fridge was in a cupboard under the sink.When we arrived, the TV didn’t work and it took two people and half a dozen Cable boxes before we were able to use our TV which still didn’t work properly and the remote didn’t work at all. All the flat surfaces were covered in dust, paint was peeling off the wall, paint splatters all over the floor from lack of care in the job being done. The bedroom had a window mounted AC however, the cord couldn’t reach the outlet - we needed to get an extension cord ! The one positive note is that the bed linens were clean and the mattress was very comfortable, thank God! It’s my opinion in reading the other negative reviews that the owners/management are not concerned at all by these negative reviews as Kamloops is ‘Canada‘s Tournament Capital’ and they know full well that when all the other rooms book up in the city, their rooms too will be needed, which is why we ended up staying there. Do your level best to not stay in this facility."

"Perfect hotel for families. Pool is great, and the arcade is a treat. Loved the little general store for couple quick pops. embers the brewery had the most amazing food, and it was a plus that it’s apart of the hotel. Rooms are clean, bed was comfortable. Bathroom is small but worked for our family. Front desk was super kind and we loved our stay. Thank you! "

"The word “Wyndham” made us think it’s a great place to stay for a night and of course, it’s located in Kamloops downtown but we are disappointed as the building is old and not well kept and maintained. It’s just a good place to sleep overnight and think that everything will be ok the next day. We had a complimentary breakfast though."

"The place was ok. The information about continental breakfast was misleading. First of all, there is no room, nor tables and chairs at all to seat down and enjoy the breakfast. You need to eat in your on the bed because there is only one chairs. We where a family of 3. They have to go items such as fruits, yogurt, juice,muffins and boiled egg. Continental freakfast is total different in my experience. Also, check in is at after 4:00 pm which is pretty annoying specially after a long driving where you only want to get intothe room, take a nice shower and rest a little bit. More over the cleaning is poor and you can hear the peace showering in the next room very loud. One thing I appreciate is that are dog free."
