From check-in to dining, houseroom service and concierge, every service is done with a smile and patience. The bedroom is small, as expected in space constraint downtown Hanoi, but is definitely clean and not musty. There is even a rose in the bedroom.
Reception desk gave very detailed advice on direction and good recommendation on where to eat. There was a waiter who knew the ingredients of dishes we enquired (due to food allergies). I can't remember his name but he was really patient with my family, who can't make up their mind. Another waiter serving during breakfast was polite and patience with an Indian family, who was totally rude and disruptive. I would have thrown the serving tray on their head!
Concierge ensured we were the correct recipient before passing me the package left for by a friend. I have encountered 5-star hotel who just pass it to me just because I said the package is mine.
We stayed in a 5-star hotel in Hanoi before our trip to Halong Bay and stayed in Silk Path Hotel subsequently as it is a 5-7 mins walk to the night market and Old Quarter. My fussy daughter requested that the next time we return to Hanoi, she wants to stay in Silk Path Hotel again. That's how impressive the hotel is...
