Our 2 bedroom chalet was perfect for our family of five. Kids all in own bedroom with 3 x single beds, all with reading lights over the beds. Our room had double bed plus space in wardrobe to store suitcases. Full kitchen with fridge, oven and microwave that we used each day, and very helpful hosts with information and chalet supplies. Newspaper on our doorstep each morning. Highly recommended.

Very pleasant all around. The four star rating is due to the uncomfortable bed which was a little rocky. The mattress was hard. The sheets were a little rough.

I loved that you where left to enjoy your holiday but if anything you need then you just had to ask. You got privacy when needed. Only thing I could fault with the room was the queen bed. Felt more like a double and abit hard. Maybe king beds or a topper added for more comfortable sleep.

Top Spot
A really lovely place to stay. We stayed in the one bedroom unit. It was spacious and we could have easily stayed for a week. Would recommend. It was a nice distance from town for a walk down for dinner.

Andrew was an excellent host and very considerate of our privacy and enjoyment of our stay. We had one small issue which he resolved immediately. Our chalet was well-equipped and comfortable. We highly recommend The Chalets Motel

A good property for space and privacy but comfort was difficult because the panel heaters were not up to the job. The unit was cold when we arrived, it appeared the heaters were only just turned on even though we arrived at the time we had advised. That first day we never warmed up. Why don't the owners install heat pumps. Otherwise good.

Great family stay
Had a great 3 night stay here over New Years. The cabin was very clean and tidy, with a full kitchen so we were able to self cater (very handy on a family holiday). The rooms were spacious and clean, and just a short walk to the hot pools. Could not have been happier here.

Hanmer Hideaway
A very pleasant place to stay. Friendly welcome. Beds very comfortable. Separate chalets very cosy. Pleasant green area in front- ideal as a play area for children. Requires a walk up a steep hill from town.

The chalet was nice being apart from each other. Rooms a good size and a great view from the lounge. Shower was lacking in pressure but owners are repiping this winter.

The chalet was incredibly clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I had asked for an easy access unit for my mum who has trouble walking and they couldnt have been more helpful. The site was quiet and peaceful yet still only a few minutes from town. Would highly recommend.

We had an excellent stay in Chalet 6. The room was exceptionally clean in every respect, very well maintained and furnished. Nothing a problem for host. Walking distance to shops and pools but quiet and off the main strip. Strongly recommend a stay.
