Staffs are nice, very helpful and great. Room is comfortable but housekeeping is not up to standard. Dirt was found even after the toilet bowl had been cleaned. Basket for placing used towels should be added. We stayed for 5 nights but bed sheet and pillow case were not changed until we asked them to do so. Location is not that convenience. Gym should be installed. Overall a good hotel.

Walkable activities are very limited. Hotel offers a free one way shuttle to Chiang Mai 3 times a day. Taxi must be taken for return trip back to hotel for 400 Baht. The Royal Flora gardens are approximately 1 mile walk from hotel. There is a great vegetarian restaurant, Pon Pon, 10 minute walk from hotel!
If you want to visit the handicraft market in Ban Tawai which is actually closer to the hotel than Chiang Mai you must hire a car with driver. 800 Baht.
Wow, what a great place to stay! The staff are so friendly & will do anything to help.
The Thai massage in the spa was second to none, very relaxing & felt a million bucks afterwards.
The room was perfect, overlooking the pool & facing the bushland on the hill opposite.
The pool was clean & in great condition, with a water feature flowing into it.
Day trips booked through the resort staff were outstanding & well worth doing.
Daily shuttle to & from Chiang Mai markets was a great option for dinner & shopping.
Given the opportunity, I'd definitely come back to Belle Villa Resort.

We arrived knowing the location was quite a distance from Chiang Mai, but we weren't in a rush and coming straight from Bangkok was perfect to relax. There were no other guests when we arrived. The swimming was a great addition to the Guest House and the sun stays all day. We took full advantage of the free bike usage and went to all Hang Dong had to offer. We stayed in the standard double room and was in the very end room, it was very spacious and the bed was huge! The bedspread was great too, we bought the same one! However my girlfriend did wake up every morning with bites all down her legs, we don't want to say it was caused from anything other then mosquito's but it was suspicious considering it happened through the night. We did the Cooking Class with May (she is a delight to be around) and we had a great day going to the market for ingredients then cooking Green Thai Curry and Tom Yum Soup. However, although we paid to cook 3 meals we only cooked 2 and didn't actually get the cook the desert, only watched May cook it. For anyone that wants a few days to relax, it's a great place.
We have been there for few days to relax and discover Chiang Mai during the quiet season
Hotel team has always been very helpful and very very gentle
The place is very charming and quiet (15/20 min via tuk tuk from city center)
The pool is amazing and very hot, room very clean with lot of space and a private balcony. The hotel is located in the land close to a small village. From outside your room door you can see farmer working on their rice culture...
We realy enjoyed that place and strongly recommand it
Don't forget to ask hotel team for a map to go to the hotel for the tuk tuk drivers who always know where you want to go, but very often get lost :-)
"Splendid scenic hotel for people who want to relax"
We, a family with two teenagers were a little isolated at this hotel. The staff tried their best to accommodate our needs. We had to rely on hotel transport for venturing out into town or any other nearby amenties. The hotel had a charge for this service. The only option on offer was free return shuttle service between 6 to 9pm to the night bazaar in town. During the day, we were stuck for things to do.
The start of the rainy season prevented us from exploring the country side.
On the whole, the staff did try very hard to make us feel comfortable.
