Cathy, we keep the rooms at a base temperature 0f 18degs, which can be raised by the guest. As you will appreciate the huge increase in heating costs we are experiencing mean that we have to balance guest comfort with our heating budget to avoid raising room rates.

I would rate your brother 3/10 as a guest. Returning from a celebratory event around 11:30 pm he went around the hotel banging on doors and waking up guests. This because reception was temporarily unmanned and he did not have a key. He did not ring the 24HR attended helpline. Not someone we wish to welcome again. Your other comments do not chime with previous reviews.

Mmm I agree. Post Office codes - crazy! The postal town comes up as Hook which is about 8 miles away. Entering the hotel name in Google Maps is much better.

Ah, you are the gentlemen that attempted to obtain an unjustified cancellation payment and failing that ( you left without notice) you wrote a malicious review. It's so at odds with other guest reviews that I hope it will be seen for what it is.

Mr Ali, I have no idea in what we let you down specifically. You do not mention a single matter because, I believe you do not have anything for complaint. We gave you a double room with ensuite overlooking the garden. We upgraded you, at no cost, from a cheap single room with a non connected bathroom. Just for your comfort. You mentioned to my staff how nice the hotel looks and how nice the room was. You had your dinner, had your wine quite happily. Basically, your review does not reflect your impressions here.
