It became apparent quite early that there were a lot of new staff, orders were often misunderstood or just wrong, on one occasion we were told they had run out of white sugar! Another guest had an expensive Brandy served in a small wine glass as they had no Brandy glasses, this despite an impressive ...
I had booked a night and dinner here for my wedding anniversary as a surprise for my wife. On arrival we felt welcomed and some nice touches from the hotel made our stay lovely. The food was fantastic and the room was clean and cosy, the only thing I would say was the other room doors were very noisy ...
Great stay, only one night. Quick check in, rooms befit an old coaching inn. Large and quirky but fun. Only thing IMO that could improve the room is more lighting. Bar and restaurant very comfortable and a good atmosphere. Food was fine and good selection of beer. Would happily return
Fantastic hotel with excellent customer service, nothing is too much trouble. However they need to check their facilities, our room heating wasn't working properly and the shower kept getting flooded
Very impressed to arrive and find reserved parking space. Room very comfortable. Helpful staff. Very good food in restaurant attached to hotel. Really enjoyed stay.
If you know you are cruising from Ocean Terminal this hotel and bar/eatery is a short walk away so no need for taxis. There is no lift so if you are on the top floor you may have to carry your own suitcases, but if that is not a problem then this is the place to stay. Comfortable room.

When you think of a luxury hotel, the chances are that you imagine a rambling country lodge set in expansive grounds. However, there are plenty of luxury hotels that offer more intimate and personal surroundings, such as the Kingsley at Everley. This guest house is located in a small village and offers charming and chic accommodation with all the little details that leave you feeling as though you're being treated as a guest rather than a faceless booking. Similarly, the Mill Arms in Romsey might appear to be little more than a quaint, country inn. However, step inside and you'll find yourself in a luxury hotel that crackles with character, from its flagstone floors to the beautiful beams that cross the ceilings.
Luxury has different meanings for different people and some prefer opulent surroundings. While never ostentatious, the Four Seasons Marriott Hotel Hampshire is practically dripping with opulence. Combining the timeless beauty of an English country estate with all the amenities you could expect from a 21st century luxury hotel, staying here is a fantastic experience. However, this isn't a stuffy hotel: families with children are welcome to enjoy all that the hotel has to offer, including the Kids For All Seasons program and the on-site, sumptuous spa.
Many Hampshire luxury hotels, such as the Lainston House Hotel, offer their services as wedding venues, providing a spectacular setting for couples who want to tie the knot in style. With wedding planners to hand, on-site restaurants and bridal suites, using a luxury hotel in Hampshire as the place where you'll get married can help to ensure that your Big Day goes without a hitch.
Whatever your reason for visiting Hampshire, booking a room in one of the county's many luxury hotels is the best way to make your break a memorable one.
