"A special occasion "
The first room allocated had the noisiest plumbing system ever experienced, the second room we were shown was the same and you could still hear the noise from the first room. Our third room was very comfortable with a plumbing system which passed all inspection. Other than that an enjoyable stay.

"nice hotel, but not perfect"
i enjoyed the walk to the grange from the main reception and the room was a nice size and on the surface clean and pleasant. However i noticed bad maintenance in some areas, particularly in the bathroom. i didnt eat there so can't say anything about the food. pleasant environment makes it a nice place for a relaxing weekend break, i could walk for hours just round the ground. If you can forgive chipped plaster and bad grouting/filling then go for it.

"Very good hotel for children."
The hotel facilities are good and pleasant but it has two different areas with rooms. One is old and not so comfortable, the rooms are small with old furniture. The other is new and it has bigger rooms with new furniture. Those rooms are much better comfortable. The problem is that Expedia shows only two categories of rooms (Small Classic and Classic), but the pictures of the hotel shows most of them from the new rooms. We booked a Small Classic Room and a Classic Room but both are small with almost the same size and not so comfortable. After I claimed regarding this matter they changed one room in the second day. That issue was very inconvenient for us. Another problem is that they have less employers than the need when the hotel is full. The waiting time for meals is normally too long and one day we have to wait 35 minutes for the hot breakfast.

"Great Hotel, amazing location."
The hotel is certainly one of the best in the UK. The facilities are excellent, the rooms are beautiful, food is very good and generally a first class service. Add to that a great location, where you benefit from both the New Forest and the nice beaches near Bournemouth, and you have a truly great hotel. You certainly pay for it though. The price is what you have for a first class hotel in London, NY or Paris.

"Nice location, good Hotel, needs updating"
Firstly we are a family of 4, and although the room was a good size, there was only enough bathing supplies for 2, and most importantly that dispite having a fan in the room, it was unbearably hot, and therefore none of us really got much sleep. I dont think I have stayed in a hotel without aircon in many years. The second issue was dinner. We booked for a meal at 9pm, arrived there at 9.10, placed our food order at 9.20 but didn’t get our food until 10.10, this is clearly too long, particularly with a young child, she got rather upset. Sticking with dinner, 3 out of the 4 meals were good. I ordered a special which was described as Pork chop with a red wine sauce, new potatoes and seasonal veg. I got all of those and the pork was excellent, however, I had 1 & 1/2 tiny new potatoes and 3 small sprigs of veg. The entire meal was less that 1/3 a plate, but due to the long wait and early start we had the next day I had to put up with it, I did order a side salad to try and fill myself up a bit, but that didn’t really go with the food. We also ordered sweet potato wedges and got a tea saucer of soggy sweet potatoes fries, they were horrible. Finally we paid for the breakfast, which in all was excellent, but again ruined when 2 of us who used the Ketchup which was very very cheap and like vinegar.

"Nice hotel with helpful staff"
We stayed here for a wedding at the Clock Barn. Good location with limited parking. Single room was lovely, just would have benefited from somewhere to hang my dress. Family room had double and full size single bed. The shower was unpredictable, couldn't control the temperature safely. Very clean and comfortable rooms.

Pocket Guide: Conference Centre Hotels in Hampshire

While Hampshire has plenty of independent conference venues, using a conference hotel to host your meeting, team-building events or incentive programmes comes with a range of benefits. Close to the M4, bisected by the M3, well-served by rail links and Southampton Airport, Hampshire is an easy county to access. With some of the UK's most exceptional scenery and historic attractions to explore, this county proves that you really can mix business with pleasure. Conference hotels in Hampshire come in a variety of shapes and sizes, with something to suit most budgets.

    Conference Hotels in Hampshire

Hosting a conference in a Hampshire business hotel gives you more control over how things play out. With a traditional venue, the end of the day usually sees delegates going their separate ways. Using a conference hotel means you can keep everyone on-site and perhaps clinch a deal over dinner or simply relax with your colleagues in the bar. For team-building events, hotels such as the Chewton Glen boast their own grounds and will even organise activities for you.

    Impress with Sumptuous Surroundings

If business guests are going to be present, impressing them with sumptuous surroundings might help to stack the odds in your favour. There are a number of luxury conference hotels in Hampshire equipped with their own meeting rooms and facilities, set against elegant backdrops. The MacDonald Elmers Court Hotel is a prime example, offering outstanding business and conference services, in a 19th century manor house, set in 23 acres of stunning, landscaped grounds. With the excellent Waterford Restaurant serving everything from afternoon tea to fine, British cuisine, there's no detail overlooked - even down to the free Wi-Fi that runs throughout the hotel.

    Size Doesn't Matter

However, not all conferences are big ones and there are plenty of business hotels in Hampshire that cater for smaller events too. The De Veres Venues Warbrook House offers state-of-the-art conference services, but can provide rooms for smaller meetings of up to 90 people. They also have a dedicated training suite, which can be adapted - as creatively as you like - to fit in with your needs.

Conferences are an important part of business; booking a room in a Hampshire conference hotel can help ensure that your event goes as well as possible.
