Just a short drive from the centre of Southampton, the Calshot Activities Centre has an excellent climbing wall, velodrome and a slope for dry skiing. It hosts the Calshot Winter Track League between October and February, and is Britain's first purpose-built indoor cycling venue. The venue, which is also one of the country's largest outdoor centres, offers plenty of exciting adventure courses for people of different levels of experience, and has a pleasant cafe bar where you can enjoy a refreshing snack and hot drink after a long session on the ski slope.

Spend Some Time at the New Forest National Park

Celebrating 10 years of official National Park status in 2015, the New Forest National Park welcomes many millions of visitors each year to its picturesque woodlands and vast, open meadows.
