For me the three-night stay was not pleasurable. The room which had two single beds was too cramped and had there been another occupant, there would not have been anywhere for a holdall/suitcase to go. I thoroughly enjoy a good cooked breakfast but only learnt, after payment had been taken well before the stay, that this was not on offer. Had I had the choice, I would have gone elsewhere. In a country which has a tradition of cooked breakfasts, the breakfast
was poor with a choice of cereals, fruit juice, yoghurt, a bun, toast. I asked for gluten free porridge and after the second breakfast I had a violent reaction which lasted 14 hours, consequently for the third breakfast I avoided the porridge and told the staff why. The size of the gluten-free bread was tiny, far more so than what I buy for myself. There was no conversation between staff and me as to what I had done during the day and if I needed any information. My b & b where I stayed in for my 4th night was great with the staff being so welcoming, friendly and ready to talk about my activities etc. That was a memorable stay for all the right reasons.
