We stayed in a room on the third floor, near the bar, there was non stop noise until 1am and then the noise went on until 6.30am from people coming in late and trolleys. There were only a few plugs in the room, one of which we could not use as a plus had broken in it. The air con didn't seem to work and the shower wasn't very powerful.
I did book the hotel for the location, which was prefect for our needs but I wasn't overly impressed, especially when I paid to sleep there and did not get any sleep due to the noise.
Hotel was appealing from the inside. Very nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Accomdating staff. The hotel was not that close to main attractions but was close to bus and tube service which made it easy to get around
Front of Hotel very impressive and modern and quick check in with friendly staff. Although booked two rooms were given these on different floors changed when asked . Rooms clean and comfortable but could do with bringing up to date inline with front of Hotel .Breakfast was excellent spoilt for choice with selection. Stayed as was attending show at Hammersmith Eventim Appollo which is only five minute walk away.
The hotel was very nice, and the staff extremely pleasant. However, it was meant more for a business traveler than a holiday. The Tube was fairly close but its very far out from the tourist attractions and takes 1/2 hour to get there. Huge mall down the street, for high end products only. Felt very safe in the area, anytime of day or night.
This was a great hotel, staff very courteous, good facilities and five minutes walk to the tube station only negatives were poor lighting in the room and the bath shower combination had a shower curtain rather than a screen so the floor got wet, but this is being picky as the overall standard was high.
Pocket Guide: London Hammersmith and Fulham Hotels
On the north bank of the Thames, residential Hammersmith retains a bustling, city-centre feel with high-street shops and offices. The area around the magnificent 19th-century suspension bridge is often busy with those visiting Hammersmith's riverside pubs, especially in April when the annual Oxford-Cambridge boat race passes by. Fulham’s main thoroughfare, the Fulham Road, is filled with smart bars, chic restaurants, and fashionable boutiques. The area is best known for Stamford Bridge, the home stadium of football team Chelsea FC.
