Convenient location

I stayed at the hotel because it was attending a conference. But it was so cold! Even the bar where they serve dinner was cold.

The bed was old. We couldn't get a drink or food other than the times stated. Which did not give you much choice.

Just stroll across to airport. So easy!

Arrived into Hamilton for a wedding locally. Had arranged for earlier checkin 12pm as flight in at 10:30am. Was delighted rooms available straight away. So no rushing. Had booked 2 queen rooms just expecting queen bed in each room. Surprised rooms with queen and single (daughters were to share bed) so a bonus.

Worst motel ever!

After being given the wrong room, then the key getting stuck in the door, followed by then being given an upstairs room despite one of our party being in a wheelchair. Finally given the right room, by this stage it's after midnight. Then go to make up the sofa bed, no linen or blankets provided at all, despite this being the only bed available for our disabled person. Fold out the bed, visible springs sticking up! The other beds were just as bad. I actually have a pressure bruise on my ribs from the springs sticking into me. Worst, most uncomfortable sleep ever! Had it not been too late to get a booking elsewhere we would have left. Rooms were very tired inside. We do a fair bit of travel, have stayed in all manner of lodgings, backpackers, b&bs, motels and hotels, and this is by far the worst place we have ever had the misfortune of staying at.

It's a nice hotel. Good value for money, friendly helpful staff. Very handy to airport and to Mystery Creek.

Close to airport

Pros: Pool, restaurant and bar areas.
Cons: Rooms just need a bit of a makeover. Not too bad really.
Location: Well located next to the airport and close to the two main roads South. Good cafe/restaurants nearby if you need them and close to the city.
We had a wedding to go to locally and some of the family were flying in from Wellington and the rest driving from Auckland. Great food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Nice comfortable bar and the pool facility was excellent. The stay was ruined not by the hotel but by the local hamilton Taxi service who were late picking us up to take to the wedding and then late to pick up up after the wedding. Dont use this service whatever you do. The hotel did not book the taxi service for us rather gave us a business card to do ourselves. I think they knew from experience the taxi company was tardy, rude when challanged and terribly inefficient.

Pros: Comfortable beds
Cons: Toilet needs turning around 90 degrees
Room had big stains on carpet and dirty hand marks on wall in bathroom.Unit was spacious and very comfortable as was the bed. pity the toilet is facing the vanity unit as a tall bloke like me could not sit on it properly and my knees were wedged so hard against it.would have been better facing the bath/shower unit. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay with a great breakfast.
