Staff is very friendly. Hotel is located about a 20 minute drive from the cruise port. There is nothing around here. So don’t expect to see Hamburg unless you are wanting to take transit back into the city. Hotel rooms are a bit dated. The shower in the bathroom was small. But the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Rooms are surprisingly nice!
The building in general is pretty so so, but I was pleasantly surprised by my room. It was great, lovely room and with a fridge and A/C! Unfortunately, the location is horrible, even more so with the train station closed.

Is a amazing place , is a bit far away from the Center , but if you are looking for peace and some private and quiet hotel , this is the best option. We loved the food was delicious in the breakfast, also the staff very nice .

Hotel quite OK, but neighborhood not our choice.
Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was closed and the neighborhood is really a bit questionable. It does not feel safe to be alone outside after dark.

Great hotel in an industrial setting.
After arriving to the area of the hotel I had doubts. I was very wrong. This is a very nice hotel indeed. Quite large and well presented. The room was very clean and quite. We found parking out the front of the hotel to check in as we couldn't find the hotel parking. You have to enter to rear parking at the shopping centre next door. As you enter you will see a large sign at the rear for the hotel parking. We drove up the one lane ramp to the secure door, pressed the button and we were in. Fully undercover parking at a reasonable cost with direct access to the hotel from the Carpark. Reception was polite and helpful. We didn't use any of the hotels facilities or restaurants so can't report on them. The room was very good and comfortable. This hotel was good for us as we had a rental car, but not sure how this location would work for those who don't have a car. It is very handy to the city centre but might take a little while to walk there. This hotel is located in an industrial-ish area and the local inhabitants hanging out in front of the shops looked friendly enough, but we never had to interact or go near them anyway. Looks safe enough. The hotel is excellent and would recommend it for sure.

Good place for a quick stay.
ThiS hotel located close to S Bahn and taxis get you into tourist locations quick. The neighborhood is in transition and the streets are not as they indicate in google - so pay close attention to the little alley that leads you to the front door with the car. The bike rental stand is right on the property- that’s handy.

Was a lot of dust in the room, on top of lights etc. Also annoying LEDs on electrical equipment and terrible pillows! Restaurant was pretty good downstairs thankfully as there isn't too much in the local area.

Even though the hotel is good. It’s not for families with kids as the hotel is situated in a industrial area near the docks. Dangerous river/Ocean look a like near buy and a dangerous bridge you have to cross every time you go out. Good for business location not for pleasure.

Clean hotel with off street parking.
Very clean hotel, excellent service. Nice restaurant- that’s good because there did not appear to be too many other options. Working class neighborhood, felt safe walking around. Reserved off street parking for free, covered parking in the garage for a fee. Nice breakfast. No AC but there’s a nice fan in the room. Rooms facing the autobahn can be noisy. Enjoyed my stay.

Big city hotel
After spending most of the trip in small town areas, it was hard to be back to a big city. The construction outside and inside the hotel was a bit distracting.

The hotel is excellent and the staff terrific but for me it was too far outside Hamburg city centre. And I didn't care for the district we walkde through from the train station

Well our rooms didnt have ac and the neighbourhood is way too loud. Couldnt sleep at all we had 3 rooms and all the same !! The location is bit strange as i felt we are next to a fright transport deck

Nice hotel inside, outside lets it down a bit
Let down a bit when we were told we had to pay for the secure garage parking as the outside car park does not look like it's in a nice/safe area. However, after this initial let down and the shabby look of the outside of the hotel, we were very pleased with the inside. The staff were fantastic, the rooms made up for the outside. The food from the bar was very good and reasonable value. It's on a busy road but in the room you don't hear the noise too much. For the price we paid I wouldn't complain except to say they should make the garage parking free for all guests so they feel more secure about where their car is parked.

Good hotel for the place
it is a good hotel overall and place is good. But not four stars! breakfast is good and room is clean

This is not a 4* hotel!!!!!!
The hotel itself is not bad, it is okay but rather dated and the rooms are fine. Not really four star. My two bug bears however are they advertise free car parking..... It's lies! The hotel car park charges despite advertising free parking, when you challenge the staff they advise that their is free car parking in the supermaket car park next door! You can't sell something that isn't yours! Secondly you wouldn't want to leave your car in this neighbourhood..... It's rough, really rough!

Very friendly and helpful staff at the hotel. The breakfast was worth the 11 extra euros. It's not too far from the S-bahn (about 10 minutes walk).
