Located near easily accessible transportation however the room was very small and we would have like to have a refrigerator to be able to keep our medications cold. Even though transportation was very accessible it did come with its downfalls from the less fortunate begging for money to people fighting, and relieving themselves outside.

Hamburg Scammers
I was charged an extra fee even though I had booked an extra night in the exact same room/bed. Upon bringing this to the attention of the receptionist, I was repeatedly turned away because "only the manager could approve a refund." Many days later after numerous attempts of reaching out to the manager, I was denied any refund. It's evident that the manager here and the staff under him are engaged in unethical business practices if they're willing to create random charges for their guests. If you're looking for a place to stay near the train station, remember that even the location isn't worth getting scammed.

Dear Gast,sorry about your complain in our Hotel.first i see your first reservation was Double room and the second reservation was Queen Size Room You have to change your Room but you Dont like to change you want to stay in Double room my colleges charge you for your staying in Double Room and you say okey. you pay for upgrate for that in 4 hours later you asking the reception why you must pay the upgrated of your Room we explain again to you and you dont understand the next day you complain again about your room upgrate and you like to get back the payment we cannot refund the payment. we are not Scammer first you must understand your reservation.

Perfectly adequate.
Right next to Hamburg Station, and in a street of wonderful, varied restaurants, it fitted our need perfectly for evening arrival from Berlin on the train, and early morning departure to Hamburg airport.

It’s super close to the train station and served our purpose - one day visit of HH before taking a train to Copenhagen- perfectly. The room was very small, but the bed was comfy.

The property itself was great as well as the staff (plus they spoke English). While the location is great if you are travelling and need to take the train or bus early in the morning it is quit busy and loud.

I didn’t dislike the property. It is functional and comfortable. Compared to the last six hotels I have stayed at this trip it is a little less in appointments. I would stay again as it is very convenient to Hamburg HBF but as such there is a bit of a street element to be wary of.

Convenient, basic with friendly service…smells.
The room was ok, it’s got a nice look to it, basic bathroom and great proximity to the train station and food venues. The beds are worn, the room is hot (no ac) in summer and with the windows open you get a lot of smoke from the patrons below at the restaurants and passing by. Not the occasional whiff, but pretty consistently strong. If your sensitive to that it’ll be a problem.

Good for a one night short stay. Bed very comfortable and room very clean, bathroom small but functional. Room very small with very little room around the bed to move. No AC or fan to cool room down. Room faced directly onto busy road in front of train station Hamburg HBF and very noisy as had to leave the one small window open to provide any reprieve from the hot room and for ventilation.

The hotel is right across the road from Hamburg Hbf. Expect some noises from streets, bar/restaurant. People are very noisy (lots of homeless people around there). While is your window open cigarette’s smoke from streets goes to your room! The receptionists were ok. The rooms were small but clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was pretty good. Powerful, hot shower and good ventilation. Wouldn’t not recommend due the noises and cigarette’s smoke! Very nice place to go for coffee is “Campus suite” (lots of locals). Supermarket “Edeka HafenCity” has a lot choices (prices are lower than in centre). Delicious ice cream in “Nice and cream” near Elbe Philharmonic Hall. And fresh pretzels in Ditsch (inside the station by entrance. Offer 3 for €3).

The room was not even cleaned with towels from previous guests on the floor and bed was not made. Upon request, they did not change the room and I had to sit and wait for the receptionist do just change the bed sheets as I stood in the room for hour and half. There is not air conditioning on the property and it’s get very humid on a summer night. The staff does not speak English so it’s convenient for them to get out of situation by saying “I’m sorry” Do not recommend this property at all.

The rooms were well maintained, clean and modern, with large bathrooms. However, they did not have my booking, nor any of my party's bookings, when we arrived, nor the rooms available that we had booked. The hotel was not as advertised and did not include a number of the services listed.

Unfair
We did not stay at this hotel. There was no elevator and it was not air conditioned. Hotels.com did not refund our payment. My husband is in his 70's and has a resperatory condition that makes it dangerous for him to stay in a non air conditioned room, and he is unable to walk up steps. The day we arrived we canceled the reservation (it was for 7 days). The hotel and the broker were unkind about this and did not give us a refund.

Some limited downsides: (1) The space is small, making it a good place to sleep and not much else; and (2) the lack of air conditioning (as is common in Europe) combined with the busy neighborhood near the train station means confronting an evening dilemma: a nice breeze to cool the room or quiet solitude from the goings-on outside . Nonetheless, the location is great for moving around town and the price represents okay value, all things considered.

Convenient for catching early trains
Upon check in I realise its a two buildings - the reception area is in one (not really appealing in decor to be honest and bit worried when I enter - as no lift and and other female guests smoking outside were offering me a 'good time'. Nevertheless when you find out that your 'building is ' 20 metres down the road (just above fancy Italian restaurant - all starts to change - the building on side is nice, quite, the rooms as smaller scale yet clean and cosy with comfortable bed. Everything I need it for the one night stand to catch up early morning train - when the Main Train Station is across the street - very convenient - and yes - now when I know what to expect - I would return again to stay in this property (the reception staff very welcoming and friendly).

Good option for rail travellers
This is a very convenient hotel for those like us who are travelling by train. We could view the train station from our window. The room was small but clean and relatively recently furnished. We had to pick up and drop off the key from another property on the same street but that was quite straightforward. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel's amenities and cleanliness was very good, the reason for the poor rating is that the room was very cold and the central heating system was not enough for it, though they changed me to another room but still the same. I couldn't sleep properly. The bathroom was almost impossible to use because of the cold temperature, it was as if you are entering a freezer.

Just the one night here, but it was a lovely room. Comfortable, clean and all the amenities we needed for the night. Literally over the road from the central station with plenty of food and shops near by. Highly recommend, and would happily stay again.

Hotel is very conveniently located. There’s no front desk in this hotel, you need to go 40ft away to a related hotel. It’s a quiet hotel. Good for solo travellers just needing basics.
