Keb' Mo Concert in Columbia, MO

Posted 19-Feb-2014
Pros: Everything!
Cons: I wish t was a little closer to us!
Location: Great, exciting university town with a lot going on.
I was looking for something special for my wife for Valentine's day and I found the Victorian Country Inn. I had purchased tickets for a special concert by Keb' Mo, an artist that we both like and was excited to surprise her with a night at a Bed & Breakfast. The owner Barb was so accommodating before we even arrived and once there, her & her husband made us feel very at home. The property is beautiful, the house & decor is stunning and the hospitality is unparalleled. In the morning, we were treated to a delicious, gourmet breakfast complete with Amish pastries from up the road. It was one of the most pleasant lodging experiences we've ever had and we'll definitely be back. *******HIGHLY recommended!!!******

A wonderful surprise

I was traveling for business and opted for a b&b over the standard chain hotels in Fulton or Mexico. Best decision ever. Staying at the Victorian Inn was a delight. The hosts are personable and provide not only beautiful, clean, spacious rooms and a great country breakfast, but also terrific advice on places to eat, driving directions, and things to do. The location is beautiful with a pond stocked with fish and catfish and fields for miles and miles around. The hosts raise their own chickens so the breakfast is about the freshest you can imagine. I stayed in the dandy room which had an en suite bathroom. The decor was romantic and modem and the bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are traveling in central Missouri.

Great escape from the mundane

Barb was an excellent host and very friendly, as well as providing an excellent breakfast. Her unique B&B is a treat and is very neat and tidy. A great place to stay. Although we only needed a bed and a morning meal, she has some great options that make this a truly unique B&B. Well off the beaten path, but yet close enough to attractions in the area. We opted to take the "country route" to get to her place taking the winding rounds in the country side of Missouri - a great way to see and experience the beautiful coutryside. We will definately keep this place on our list of great places to stay near the Katy Trail.

Pros: Everything was great! Lots of peace and quiet :)))
Cons: NOTHING! It was spot on for every little detail.
Location: This B&B is just outside of Columbia, MO. A stones throw from MIZZOU. It tucked away in the quiet country vistas of Hallsville.
Lovely B&B off the beaten path. Hosts were very nice. Every possible amenity was thought of. The Cozy Cabin offered privacy, peace, and a little bit of Heaven on Earth. Don't forget to take advantage of the reflexology/massage by Charlie. Its a great way to melt the stress away. I can't wait to return :))))
