"Our family of 5 had a wonderful time at the cottage. Sondra was a great host, helpful and responding quickly to any questions we had. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, cozy but spacious, with a well-stocked kitchen. Outdoors we enjoyed the beautiful backyard with a firepit, hot tub, BBQ, and spacious dock. We rented a boat which was delivered to a boat launch just a few docks down from us, all very hassle free. We didn't use the bunkie, but it would be a great way to have another family there with you, or for anyone who needs their own space. Thanks Sondra, for sharing your place. We had a wonderful time and made precious memories!"

"The property is located on a beautiful lake, Sally and Jan made us feel very welcome, prepared a lovely breakfast for us in the morning and set us on a great path to explore the Halliburton Highlands. Our stay in the Pine Studio was lovely and we made great use of the fireplace. "

The lemon lavender cheese cake and Kawartha mint chocolate chip ice cream was to die for😊 Lots of activity options too.Indoor, outdoor pools and lake with small sandy beach, breathtaking view of Eagle Lake. Quite a few Canada geese so had to watch your step. Did enjoy the parents with their new spring flock. 2 families there most of day...maybe consider getting a border collie dog to keep them away! Hmmm🙂 Our Room was in separate condo style building and private with its own patio and chairs which we liked. Queen bed with lots of pillows, clean, very comfortable, firm but not too hard. Bathroom jacuzzi was disappointing, seen better times, stains and tiles cracked and not great repair job. So didnt use but was one of reasons we booked this room. The rain shower was nice. Room overall was clean just a little tired. Loved the chests from the army and antiques were nice. No air conditioning was a drawback and i didn't notice tihis on booking & there in the midst of an August heatwave. Fans and ceiling fan above bed. Covid precautions taken seriously.👍 The staff were very friendly and concerned with you having a good time. Tracy in the restaurant was amazing, suggesting the meal plan as we had not realized this option and had booked everything separately, thank you! Make sure you make early advanced reservations for dinner prior to arrival. Overall had a great time and would go back."
