"The problems we encountered were mostly because of the other people staying at the hotel. The room next to ours left their dog alone and it barked until the reception staff was able to locate the people and have them quiet their dog, about an hour. Also the people upstairs were very noisy, very early in the morning. So, even though the hotel is very nice and has been nicely updated, our stay was not that great because of other guests."

"Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus. The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area."

"This hotel has a nice view of the bay. The breakfast offerings and dining area were good. It is their standard practice to provide housekeeping services only after the third night of the stay, and then they didn't change our sheets. There are a number of restaurants available in nearby Ashland."

"This beautiful home had all that we were looking for and much much more. The check in process was easier and better than anywhere we have stayed before. We loved the screen porch and incredible functionality of the house and beautiful thoughtful touches everywhere. We would love to come back and stay longer soon.
