Visit our Hakone travel guideCouldn't have asked for much more. The hotel staff were extremely attentive without being servile and the stay was very peaceful and relaxing. It made for a great couple of days in Hakone.
Dinner and breakfast was good.
The rooms were pretty run down. Our sink and toilet would consistently break down. On the last day it got so bad that they told us to use the neighboring rooms sink. Our air conditioning wasn’t working so we had to open the doors to the patio. We were then eaten alive by mosquitos on the last night. The staff are really nice and the onsen is decent. Would probably spend a bit more on a decent hotel the next time around.
