Although I couldn't check in early, I was able to store my luggage at the hotel until check in time so I could explore the city. The staff was helpful and recommended some restaurants to try and sites to see.
Hotel is quite near to Fukuoka main Station. Room size is small like any others hotels in Japan but clean and well maintains. Free buffet breakfast is fine but need to wait quite some time to get seats during peak hour as dining area is too small.
