Rooms are perfect (spacious, great bed and amenities). Very nice diner at the hotel restaurant (very professional and friendly staff, nice atmosphere, nice wine).

I often take my 9-years old son to Pairi Daiza zoo - the best zoo in Europe, which is just 20 minutes drive from Mons. 4 years ago I discovered this hotel which was built inside the existing church. Every time I go to the zoo, I come back to the Dream Hotel. The rooms and service are great and the breakfast has never failed to excite me!

Changed check-in date and chosen room wasn’t then available. Had a family room which had a TV mounted to the side of the bed obstructed by a concrete column. No view as room was at roof level-velux windows

Our room had no opening window (fire regs issue?) and the AC did not work on a very hot day. Asked reception and they said AC was broken but they had a room with a window that opened. We moved rooms. AC was broken in that room too.

As a business traveller I was put in some awfully childish cartoon themed room of bright orange with huge cartoons all over the walls. Gave me a headache and I had to cancel my work Calls because I was too embarrassed to have this room as my backdrop.

On the third floor each room has a very colorful theme (Manneken Pis, Bd Belge, Taste of Belgium, Magritte, Carnival ...). It was a last minute booking and the staff was very courteous in finding us a room with a larger bed so we could have space for our baby between us.

Location and service were pretty good. I had to get my key scan everyday I was there because there was something wrong with their system. Very inconvenient that it was the process. Also getting from the parking lot to the desk I had to go through the restaurant every single time. It would bother some guests but there was no other way around it.

Very reasonably priced with good in room facilities. We were only here one night but great room with everything you’d want. Secure parking on site which you do have to pay extra for unless like ya you’re on a motorcycle

My experience
My sink drain was incredibly clogged. After first night, of a 2 week long stay, I asked them to fix it, but no one ever did. I had to ask to have them to vacuum the floor after week 1. Near hotel, but not very homey at all. Liked that they replenished the towels often. Front desk associate was very helpful when my car got towed. Overall a 3 star.

Slightly disappointed with the available room after seeing the various photos on-line. Quick check-in and pleasant enough breakfast though. Be prepared for a 'boutique' experience - the red entrance way may or may not appeal. Similarly, on exiting the lift on our floor, the carpet and walls were black! The hotel itself was both clean and functional. The local surrounding area may leave some guests feeling uncomfortable - thankfully, the hotel provides secure car parking (but at an additional cost and requiring your keys to be left with Reception).

Overall good choice in Mons
Lovely modern hotel. Good location near main square. Cooked breakfast was not great, tepid at best on one morning. Scrambled egg needs improvement. Coffee disappoints. For prices charged there should be more attention to detail. Staff attention very good.
