"It's a shame that there are some downsides to the cottage, otherwise it would be the ideal place to stay. "Very nice YHA - this was my third visit! Extremely clean rooms, bedding and bathroom (3bed room en suite). Friendly faces behind the bar/reception. Ideal to walk Miners/Pyg Track - just across the room for both. Big self-service kitchen and dining room. Board Games/snooker room - plenty of space to lounge about with a licensed bar! Wouldn’t hesitate to book again."

"We had a great stay in this lovely characterful cottage, immaculately clean and equipped with everything you could need. Sally’s communication was excellent and detailed. The only comment we would have was that the double bed was rather too firm. The location was perfect for our purpose, which was to join a charity walk up Snowdon via the Rhydd Ddu path, only a couple of minutes walk away. We were only a short drive from so many other lovely popular Welsh towns and The Cwellyn Arms, just across the road, serves great food if you don’t feel like cooking after a full day. Be prepared to bring basic provisions, as the nearest shop is a short drive away. We would definitely return to this cottage."
