"The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Beddgelert was stunning. The breakfast was delicious. Ty Afon is also very close to Mount Snowdon if you're interested in climbing it. Thank you for our wonderful stay."
"Amazing location, housekeeper really nice! We had room upstairs looking at the mountains and it was amazing. We loved our stay. Recommend Beddgelert any time. "
"Very welcoming and friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay there. It was a great place to stay whilst my husband and son climbed Snowden there was still things to do for those that didn't. Would recommend this hotel. "
"Poor mattresses, one single power point in twin bedroom , sleeps 4 but only 3 drinking mugs & 3 forks, no kitchen knives, no outdoor furniture even though a notice told you to store it, no where to hang wet towels etc, light switch in double bedroom behind door, loose shower bracket, difficult shower controls, advertised patio is inaccurate, it is merely the shared walkway for the estate.
The location is wonderful.
Overall not worth the price.

"We had a wonderful stay at the cottage for 3 nights with the family, including dogs.
Great communication throughout from the hosts. Properly was very clean and in a beautiful area too - not far from Watkin path. The village itself has lots to see and do, with lakeside walks and local shops, bars and restaurants. Highly recommend. "

"A very cozy cottage with a spectacular raised garden in back. Cute pub across the street had good food. We were a close drive to hiking trails and did some fabulous hikes. Recommended! "
"We have had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. Sally provided lots of information in advance and the cottage was all ready when we arrived, with a bottle of wine waiting for us which was a lovely and very welcome touch after a 300 mile drive! The cottage was really comfortable, plenty of space and very well equipped. The best thing was the location, at the foot of Yr Wydffa and right by the start of the Rhyd Ddu ascent. We (2 adults, one 9 year old and one French bulldog) all had a wonderful time staying here and would recommend wholeheartedly for anyone wishing to explore the area, or just to chill away from everyday busyness of life! "A very good stay which is going to be improved by the addition of a hot tub, unfortunately I think that we were the last guests not to benefit. Nice chatting with Gareth about the history of the place. The only things I would like to see are access to the available wifi and (please Gareth), a new bed or at least mattress."
Mount Snowdon lies at the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, an area of unspoiled natural beauty in Central Wales. At 3,560 feet, it is the tallest mountain in Wales and the tallest in the UK outside the Scottish Highlands. The range of routes leading to the higher reaches of the mountain, however, makes it a firm favourite with families and you don’t have to be an expert climber or hiker to access some of the most stunning views in the UK.
