Since I couldn't find the way to reach the hotel by public transportation, I asked the owner how to get there. He was so kind and offered me a picking up serve. As I couldn't afford it, I had to cancel the room in very last minute, but he was so generous and understood my situation. I’m sure you would be so happy to stay there if you would have a car!

30 Minutes to Frankfurt Airport
This little gem is close to Frankfurt Airport for catching an early flight (if you have a car). Very clean, easy and plentiful parking on street, small town, couple of nice restaurants nearby. Wonderful European breakfast.

Very pleasant!
We had a wonderful one night stay. The proprietor is very kind and extremely patient. Due to several unforeseen events we were running extremely late, not getting to the property until 2220, an hour and 20 past front desk closing time. He was still there and quite happy to see us. We were SO grateful we didn't have to try and find an alternate place to stay! We had a nice sized room (1st floor suite 5). Twin beds with huge comforters. Also a desk, armoire, sofa and small flat screen TV (German programming only). The bathroom is tiny, one person at a time. It has a cool shower with handheld, overhead rainfall, and side jet shower heads. Got quite a kick out of it. As with other properties, if you like bar soap and washcloths you had best bring your own. Breakfast was nice. Pastries, bread, cereals, cold cuts, fresh fruit. Tea, milk, coffee. No complaints. We will return this September.

Pleasant basic guest house. Spotlessly clean with everything needed including fast free Wifi. Bus stop to central Darmstadt (20 minutes, EUR 2.50 one way) outside front door with service approximately every 20 minutes during the day, and every hour almost 24 hours. Owner provided low cost (EUR 15 each way) transfer from airport to guest house and back again. Good value buffet breakfast (EUR 4). Recommended.

Very clean and conveniently located within 30 minutes of Frankfurt International Airport! Inexpensive but great place to stay!

Etwas in die Jahre gekommener Gasthof
Beim Check-In um etwa 17Uhr wurden wir von einer völlig entnervten Mitarbeiterin begrüßt - oder besser gesagt hereingelassen, denn einen Gruß bekamen wir nicht. Sie behauptete zunächst, es gäbe keine Reservierung, als ich die ausgedruckte Bestätigung vorlegte murmelte sie etwas unverständliches und überreichte mir ohne weitere Erklärung einen Schlüssel. Das Zimmer war auf den ersten Blick ok und halbwegs sauber. Bei genauerem hinsehen zeigten sich auf beinahe allen Oberflächen Staub und teils Haare der vorherigen Gäste. Leider waren die Zimmer auch sehr hellhörig, sodass wir gemeinsam mit dem Gast nebenan um 6Uhr morgens geweckt wurden. Auch den Gaststättenbetrieb unten und den Fernseher des Nachbarn am Abend konnten wir mehr als deutlich hören.
