I loved the location, I loved the beach, I loved that management attempted to help us. The heat was pretty rough, although doable. 2 Window Units and central AC kept the house at about 78F until around midnight. We kept blinds closed and did our part to get the house at the right temp before the heat of the day, but did not matter. We did have a burning rubber or tar-like smell that would get pretty strong during the hottest part of the day and evening, but could not find source. Called the number for about 45 mins on day 1 and then gave up. Called the next day, waited for 30 mins, then sent an email, then was able to get someone. A lady came out, she was kind, took pictures of ac filter and put in work order. She said she would send a maintenance guy out to look at the unit because she stated that this wasn't normal, but no one came or followed up. That being said, it was a holiday weekend so we understood. Bottom line: we weren't there to relax in the house, we were there for the beach. And it was a blast. Overall, I'd recommend a Vacasa property, but I would not recommend this house. It's overpriced for what you get. Vacasa does need to get better at being available and attentive when an issue arises, if this was issue that involved a broken unit or something like burning wires, electrical, it would've been bad for all parties. ##### David S. A comfortable home at the beach. We will come back We had our two children and our two dogs with us, and everyone absolutely loved this home. We spend our time at the beach everyday, very dog friendly atmosphere and the beach is just a minute from the house. You could hear the waves from the inside, and the patio was wonderful having your morning coffee or reading a book, or just watching the ocean. The house was clean, with comfortable beds and kitchen had all supplies to cook all your meals. We will definitely come back to the Fine Fish House, already planning next vacation stay there. ##### Maja H. Great proximity to the beach. Super cute and comfortable. Laid back and relaxed. Affordable. Loved the porch. Provided an excellent opportunity for stargazing. Off the beaten path but close enough to town to sight see, eat, and spend money on trinkets and treasures. Appreciated the dragon kite in the downstairs closet.
