LIVING AREAS Watch the waves from a light-filled living room with lovely Gulf views. Full of coastal charm, this open space features a sleeper sofa, cushioned armchairs, and a 40” flat-screen TV. KITCHEN & DINING Prepare beach snacks and evening meals in a well-equipped kitchen, outfitted with all-white appliances and cabinetry. Savor morning coffee at the two-person breakfast bar. A spacious dining area offers seating for six. BEDROOMS & BATHS This house sleeps up to 10 guests between the three bright and airy bedrooms (each with a 32” flat-screen TV) and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. Tucked away upstairs, a spacious master bedroom has two full-size beds and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. On the entry level, a second bedroom comes with a king bed, while the third bedroom features a full-size bed. A sparkling guest bathroom is appointed with a walk-in shower. OUTDOOR AREAS Spend blue-sky days on a private deck with breathtaking Gulf views. There’s plenty of loungers and built-in seating, with steps leading straight down to the sand. The space beneath the house includes a picnic table, charcoal grill, a comfy hammock, and an outdoor shower. EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a washer/dryer. Parking is provided for four cars (two under the carport and two in the driveway). Please note that RVs, trailers, fifth wheels, and four-wheelers are not permitted; parking on the street is not allowed. The living areas of this stilted home are accessed via one flight of exterior stairs from the parking area. During the summer, this home is only available to rent from Saturday through Saturday. THE LOCATION A paradise for beach lovers, this home is set beside a glorious sugar-white beach. Stroll for miles along this idyllic stretch of coast. Head 3.8 miles farther down the shore to Gulf State Park -- home to a stunning beach and winding nature trails. Local golf courses are minutes away, including Gulf Shores Golf Club (5 miles). Bringing the kids? Travel 3.5 miles to Waterville USA/Escape House for a day of epic water slides and amusements. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. It's right on the beach and was a nice space. The home is not really updated and had some weathered spots (scrapes and holes in walls, mismatched flooring, doors had unattached weathering strips). We were a family of 6 and the 3 bedrooms worked out for us. The couch and furniture, including mattresses, has seen some wear and tear as well. Upstairs shower contains mold. The place is tidy, but not clean. The saving grace is that it's on the beach, but the underneath of the house is not clean so it's impossible to not track sand into the house. AC is nice and cold. The room upstairs is great. The views were absolutely priceless. The only thing I would say is the furniture seemed a little dungey or dirty. And the ceiling fan in the living room had tons and tons. The property is old and could use some updating, but that could be completely ignored if it weren't absolutely disgusting. Both bathrooms were covered in mold, like true green and black chunky mold. The whole property was covered in dirt, dust and grime. The sofa itself was sunken, worn and in desperate need of a washing. I should have trusted the previous reviews because they were completely spot on. Sand on floors and staircase which is expected to a certain extent. The inside HVAC filter is covered in mold and dust. Also only two beds had blankets not sure why the other two only had sheets. I had to go purchase blankets the first night so everyone had a blanket (lost time from my family on vacation). Tv upstairs does not work. ##### Jean G. Based on previous reviews, this has been brought to your attention before. Someone is going to get hurt!! Washer/Dryer were good! Furniture is worn out. The sofa was so nasty, that we covered it with a sheet!! The dining room table was white, but covered in permanent marker! We had to buy a table cloth to cover if!! Sliding glass door does not lock and TV never worked in living area. Can’t beat the view and beach, a little attention to detail would have made it great!! ##### David N. The location and view was wonderful! The view itself was 5 stars but the condition of the home was very disappointing just barely a 2 star! The home and furniture looks like it has been neglected. There were multiple dangerous items throughout the house: (rusty nails sticking out of porch handrails, floorboards entering home from porch were uneven and sagging, rusty metal poles laid on outdoor porch and in sand on lower deck, broken glass in sand below deck, rusty outdoor table on deck with no chairs, lounge chairs on deck were cracked on the seat, a tree in living room with no stand being held up by a chair pushed against it). The living room furniture is very worn, stained, and uncomfortable. The beds were very uncomfortable. There was a random alarm/buzzing noise coming from the kitchen area every couple of hours. Very short distance to the beach. Great location in general in regards to restaurants, groceries and liquor stores. Beds were very comfy including the pillows. Bring your own cook-wear if you want to cook. Were definitely some wear and tear on the skillets. Do not depend on a grill for grilling out. (One was not located on the property as pictured.) hammock was not there, Spoke with the manager and was told it was not an amenity that was included even though it was listed and pictured. Picnic table needs replaced or repaired, be careful sitting on it. Nice having a washer and dryer. House was clean except for some sand on the floor but what do you expect, it’s a beach house lol.
