Close to chaweng beach
The hotel restaurant was cute and nice. It’s located right across chaweng beautiful beach. The hotel staff was helpful and the room was spacious. The main thing I didn’t like was the bathroom, toilet got clogged and shower was splashing water everywhere since it has no curtain and is situated right near toilet so toilet got wet too. Hotel staff helped me book speed boat to other islands which was nice and any questions I had they were helpful. The location although right near beach is not as close walk to night life bars or shopping mall/ main part of chaweng beach near ark bar. It’s nice for some quiet at night but there are some hotels still quiet and near the main part of chaweng beach to walk to or night life/ more restaurants instead of overcharged taxis unless you rent bike :)

Overnight only after the ferry from Koh Tao. Great restaurant on site. Quiet, despite proximity to airport. Staff v helpful. Resident cat is cool.

Excellent service
The service on the front desk, the restaurant and from the house keeping was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable and had a stocked mini bar with snacks and drinks at good prices. The food from the restaurant was great too.

The service was excellent and the staff and manager were always eager to please. It is near the beach and near a 7/11 store for a quick pickup of emergency supplies. The price for the hotel was extremely good for what we received.

GREAT Quiet but convenient Location. Not fully up and running yet (restuarant yet to open) but freindly helpful staff more than make up for it. Rooms are spacious, well maintained, clean and staff are very responsive.

The room was nice, large with lots of space. The walk-out porch area is nice to sit and have a coffee first thing in the morning. The food was good and the services they provide with the boat services were convenient.

Friendly staff and atmosphere
The location of the hotel to Chewang Beach is great. Not on the beach but you walk through across the street. The price was right and i extended my stay a few nights. The layout of the hotel is interesting. I was in a newer section across the parking lot. AC was good and kept the place cool. Chairs and deck in front of the room was a nice place to relax. Limited front desk hours but Kun and the other staff were all friendly and helpful. I had an early morning checkout to catch my flight and it wasn’t an issue. I rented a scooter from them for a few days and it was easy through them. They ask for a large deposit or your passport on checkin.

Spotlessly clean hotel with great value
Very friendly staff welcomed us with welcome drinks and smiles. Very nice people. The Hotel and the room was spotlessly clean. Wifi was one of the best that I got in Thailand. They mentioned to me that they recently upgraded their wifi system. I got 100 MB per second download speed. Definitely worth the price I paid and would highly recommend.

Ok for the price..but poor aircon / barking dog..
Not bad for the price but the air conditioning is practically useless as there was huge gaps around the door frame ( on all rooms that I saw) so it never really got cold.,owners dog barks every time somebody comes home at night so bring ear plugs .. otherwise location up the hill but 10 minute walk to the centre and the sun tails run all the time

On check in for one night the staff insisted on keeping one of our passports. No biggie but weird as we have not had that experience anywhere else in Thailand. Couldn't get an early check in so we had lunch nearby as the Greek restaurant seemed very expensive. We got placed in a room near the back of the property that stank of sewage. The staff moved us right away which was appreciated. That being said, the beds were hard as rocks and literally had sand on the sheets. It seemed like the beds got made without out putting fresh sheets on them after the last tenants checked out. Overall a run down hotel, would definitely not stay again.

This is exactly what you pay for, cheap, no luxuries but still not a bad shout if you are a peasant, room security is poor, the shower wouldn’t impress anyone from the 3rd world but you get what you pay for, I wouldn’t stay here again but I also won’t say anything too bad about it either, you pay peanuts and you get monkies

Short stay in Koh Samui
Hotel is very good value- the room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was serviceable but needs updating. Beach is just a one minute walk away, but you have to cross a busy road. Beach area is very developed and commercialized - not our taste. I can’t recommend the Greek restaurant that is connected to the hotel- our dinner was awful, but the manager didn’t charge us for the food after we explained our issues. We chose not to eat breakfast there.

Super friendly
We were greeted by a supper friendly receptionist and a welcome drink upon arrival. Our room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfy. The tv and WiFi are playing up sometimes but we didn’t mind that and have already booked our next stay.

Great price and great place by the beach.
I was so very happy with my stay here. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The beach was right across the street, and the man at the reception counter was extremely helpful and kind. I ran into some travel trouble, and he went above and beyond to make sure that I got it all figured out. I was very happy with my stay here.

Lotus Friendly
Staff were keen to assure a nice visit. Good breakfast in the morning. Rooms are okay. Have what you need without any fanfare. Scooters available for rent aren't the nicest though. Near enough to the beach and restaurants while still being a quiet place to stay.

Welcoming and good value !
My friends who live on the island recommended this hotel to me and for the price I paid it is very good. Welcoming staff, clean big room with all amenities. There is a 7/11 at the entrance of the hotel; beach is just across the road and is very beautiful.

Great hotel and very clean room. My stay at Lotus hotel was great definitely worth the price and its close to the beach which i love!! I recommend this hotel most definitely on my list when i come to Samui again.
