Time for an updated holiday review of this Expedia VIP property I stayed at for a few days. The check in process was efficient considering they are working with a skeleton crew. Angel at the front desk was welcoming and made sure I was aware of the property amenities. A special mention to Michelle at the front desk who secured my luggage when the bell person was busy elsewhere. Considering I had plenty of heavy luggage, she made it easy for me since I am disabled. Its obvious their management team cross trains their forward facing team members in more than just one area. The Royale Floor was closed for the holidays, however the property made up for it by providing full breakfast access to their restaurant Hibiscus. They also provided the complimentary drink tickets as well. Hibiscus is a welcomed oasis after a long day or flight. Its worthy to mention that Hibiscus had special holiday buffets for both holidays and they were above & beyond special. As mentioned the property was on a skeleton crew and the housekeeping team was inconsistent with their daily room change. However the rooms were cleaned efficiently. I recommend that you take advantage of the spa and pool areas as they have improved significantly. The 11 Bar is always a welcoming place and they get my drinks made right. The bell team of Amilcar, Animal, & Antonio were very helpful at check out with my luggage & were knowledgable of local restaurants.
