The front desk on arriving was not super friendly, probably because we had two service dogs with us. They tried to charge us for the service dogs, though that is both against Hotels.com policy and Italian law.
The room was OK, large, with a nice balcony. The shower, though, had mold on the showerhead nozzles.
Breakfast was OK, but limited selection, and again originally an issue with the service dogs being allowed with us into the restaurant. They want us to sit outside!
Fortunately, the manager/owner intervened and our service dogs and we were seated.
The private beach is across the street, but easily walkable, and the dogs had a great time running on the sand.
If you do NOT have a SERVICE dog, you’ll probably be treated well (or, better than we were).

Finding this property by accident was one of the best experiences. The property is absolutely stunning, the location is amazing, the food is fantastic and the staff is friendly, professional, attentive and incredibly accommodating. This is can’t miss property in Tropea if you find yourself there. Would love to come back.

Very very disapointing. Does not deserved 5 stars rating, 3 stars at Best.
The service was totally inexistant, people at the réception Could not care less about guests. We asked for help with luggages and nobody came within 30 minutes so we did it ourselves. No restaurant on site and the restaurant Linked to the hôtel is 3 km away!
Not worth the Price.

"The reception staff spoke little English. Swimming pool was not in use, which was both a surprise and a disappointment. Bar staff were a bit better, and tried hard to please. Parking was adjacent and reasonable, but there was no shade in 36+ degrees of heat. There was an Italian "Saga event with ..."
