Door card reader wasn’t working properly. It would take 5-10 minutes every single time to get access to my room. Area where the hotel is located is a dangerous area according to locals. Wi-Fi suckedand most of the time i would have to disconnect and use my cell data to access the Internet.

Where do I begin? The desk staff aside from valet parking attendant were unfriendly. Thank goodness the parking valet was able to assist me although limited in English - which was understandable. The room was dirty: floor was not mopped (wearing white socks reveal that fact), no blanket just sheets, mold on roof of bathroom, no light bulbs in two lamps leaving only one working, hotel location really..really sketchy, television installed on top of a clothing closet which caused neck cramps just to watch it in addition to the constant buffering due to poor internet/wifi. I will NEVER stay at any Howard Johnson hotels going forward.

El check in & el check sin problemas, el personal del hotel muy amable. Ahora la habitación: básica limpia en general, pero el baño fue el problema. Las toallas viejísimas, delgadas & rotas. La presión de agua súper débil, le falta una buena limpieza a la regadera, el escusado subí le bajabas de cierta forma la cisterna no se llenaba bien. El AC no enfriaba bien. Pequeños grandes detalles que necesitan mantenimiento. Me hospede ahí por ser una cadena hotelera que ya conozco, las imágenes no son actuales.

NO ELEVATORS!!! All bedrooms are in 2-3rd floors. Can only access through stairs. Stairways did not have A/C. The hotel was not well conditions for hot temperatures. A/C in the room barely blew cool air. They allowed parties in the rooms of over 20 people during weeknights with loud music and noises. No type of amenities. Their gym was a joke. Also no cool air. Staff looked like they were forced to be there. Not even a smile was shared. Each time you leave the hotel you have to report to front desk. I don’t understand the need to tell them when you leave and return. Felt like I had to report to my parents back in the day. Restaurant area had no type of fan nor A/C. We either had to eat in the heat or our room. Overall experience was horrible. We had booked for two weeks and left after 5 days, loosing our money since there was no refund. Ended up at Staybridge in Silao who had the best of the best. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The place had dirty sheets on the bed, the restaurant was closed, staff was not helpful and the room were not as advertise. I won't be staying there in my future travels to Leon where I done business.

Very disappointing from the repair of the building to the customer service. The restaurant food isn’t good (and we are very easy going when it comes to food). in addition; they won’t start your order because they prefer to spend their time chitchatting instead of working. The orders take forever! We had to ask for toilet paper two days in a row and ended up going to the store and buying a roll of TP. The bed skirts are ripped and the sofa-bed is wore out. They are supposed to start the breakfast buffet at a certain time which doesn’t happen. The safe wasn’t working. The only pleasantries are the men that take your luggage and the cleaning crie (who do a great job) Do not recommend staying here.

The room smells like drainage, plus a lot of noise
The hotel does not have elevator so people with disabilities can not stay. In the morning one person attend the dining room.

We appreciate your comments, we´ll check the odor situation, it´s important to report inmediatly to avoid interfere with your rest. Unfortunately we don't have elevator, we only have 2 Floors and we usually offer an up grade when people with disabilities need it.

In the middle of nowhere!
Terrible location, looks like a dangerous area, would not dare walk around at night and very carefull during day. 1. Bad food 2. No bar 3. No pool or exercise room 4. No elavater 5. Front desk, lacks attentive attention 6. Does not provide money Xchange If you have stayed at Howard Johnson Condensa before, this is not it, that is now La Ramada portales bravo. I thought I was booking that and wound up at HJ Avenida. BE VERY CAREFUL IF WANT TO ENJOY YOUR STAY! What’s the difference? NIGHT AND DAY! Fox

Bad service
It's located in a bad area with nothing close by to walk to. Definitely does not feel safe to walk around the hotel. The staff was not efficient and took a long time to try to solve a problem with our room. The safe was locked when we arrived at the room and their solution was to move us to a room in the smoking area which was terrible. We told them we wouldn't move so they had to see how to fix the problem with the safe or give us a refund. The rooms are small and somewhat noisy. Would recommend to stay in a hotel closer to the poliforum, it's a much nicer area.
