Pros: Location was amazing. We were easily able to walk into the city center within about 15 minutes. There was endless dining, shopping, and things to do close to the hotel.
Cons: the staff was okay but not overly helpful unless you tipped them. There is no such thing as decent coffee anywhere in the hotel and none of the shops that sell coffee open before 0830. The hotel is a bit older and in decent condition but not overly well maintained. The staff seems to enjoy standing around talking more than helping the guests or cleaning up. Our room was decent, clean at least. My two biggest issues though made the entire stay awful for us. Number one was the most noisy air conditioner I have ever seen that enlessely made loud clicking noises anytime it popped on during the night inevitably waking us up every time. The second major issue was the bathroom. It took 3 days to get a towel for stepping out of the shower. A hand towel/wash cloth was literally never seen during our stay.
Overall I think you get what you pay for. For a hotel not owned by a major brand it was okay, the price was very reasonable and you literally can not beat the location. The more we explored the area directly near the hotel the more we loved it. Coming back to our room was literally the only downside of our stay. I don’t think we will stay here again but if we had to we could deal with it.
