A Visual Feast.
The hotel has great charm and is just close enough to the main square of SMA. I don't know how old the hotel is but it's definitely from another era. And that does come with a slight trade off. You're not likely to find USB plugs in the wall outlets. And the water has to run for a while to get hot. But that's a trade off that I had no issue with to feel like I was being transported to another period in time. It's one of the more beautiful compounds I've stayed at. Small and well kept. Also, the beds are nice and firm without being like a board. All of my sleep was very restorative.

This was a quaint and well located hotel and exactly what we needed. The pool is heated and there is a very lovely courtyard to relax in. We also really loved the breakfast on site.

Regarding the bathtub, we do not have any bathtub functional and are in the precess of removing the tub. This is why we do not advertise the rooms with bathtub and only with shower. We will review our listing to make sure this is better explained and avoid misunderstandings. We hope you can come back and give us a second chance since we are constantly working on improving the hotel and our services

My stay was filled with courteous service, and lots of charm at an exceptional price, a very short walk from the center of San Miguel de Allende. During the heat of the day, it was such a pleasure to sit in the beautifully landscaped courtyard, either in the shade or in the pool. Given the proximity to restaurants and shops, I never felt pressured to be out all day. Instead, I could pace myself and come back for a brief rest as needed. The price was phenomenal given that breakfast and bottled water were included. I would definitely stay again!

My room was large, comfortable and quiet. I enjoyed my stay immensely. I was there the first week in August and it’s hot out. Unfortunately, the pool water is quite warm too so a dip isn’t as refreshing as I’d like but hey, there was a pool right outside my room and it was lovely to look at and to sit by too.

The Hacienda is in a great location just a short distance from almost all the places you might want to visit in San Miguel. There have valet parking for $350MX/night and a full breakfast is included. The courtyard is beauty and has ample seating both covered and for sun worshippers by the lovely pool. We had two rooms and both were large and quiet and had very nice bedding. The rooms and bathrooms are quite outdated, however, and our second floor room got pretty stuffy without air conditioning, although the two ceiling fans made a big difference and usually by an hour after sundown the temperatures are great. I do think the rooms could use a makeover, but overall we were happy with our stay.

This property is beautiful. The gardin, outside seating, and the pool, the staircase and painted walls all add to the ambiente. The view from the breakfast room and/or the 2nd floor Balcony is really nice as well. The location and staff are winners. The hot water takes a while but we ajusted quickly. A winner.

Quite are very close to everything. Staff super nice and very attentive 24hrs. Continental breakfast was very nice and fresh. The lady that provides it is an angel. The place is wonderful.

Great Hotel, very family friendly.
Great hotel for families, very attentive staff, nice warm swimming pool and a great breakfast offering. One watch-out, the nearest offsite Parking is called "Estacionamiento Recreo", it's 1.5 blocks away. Do not park there. They robbed items from our car which we never got back. Note the Parking is not affiliated to the Hotel at all.

La Hacienda - Functional & Well Situated
The Hacienda de las Flores is very well situated in San Miguel de Allende. It is only a few blocks from the Zocalo. The rooms are rather spacious. The service staff is very good, including the service staff at the hotel's restaurant, where the morning breakfast is served. The location of the hacienda/hotel is in a safe area; nevertheless, there is always someone at the entrance office, even late in the evening, who will open the locked doors for you. (I believe that they are locked at 10 pm.) The hotel has a nice and rather large covered patio area, where you can relax and have a glass of wine amongst the colorful flowers after a long day of sightseeing/shopping in San Miguel. The furnishings in the rooms are a little outdated (this is a gross understatement), but they are okay and functional. There is a nice French bakery and restaurant 2 blocks from the hotel, as well as multiple restaurants and bars. Overall, it was an okay place to stay, but I would not rave about it.

Great location, beautiful garden foliage. Rooms are dated but functional, most of the time. Shower faucet would not work for hot water, so we had to gather all our belobgingsxand move to another room, only to again move back to the room tge next day.....a lot of moving. Also, not wild about dog next door.....the facility hosts long term tenants, which is fine, but, i really don't need to hear their dog barking.

An amazing place and amazing value. Came here with my family of five and stayed in a suite. We all fit comfortably and loved our stay. Delicious breakfast, incredible hosts and staff. The two guys in the front desk helped us out so much with cabs, reservations, etc. We also got to meet the owner, who lives on the property. A wonderful lady who's owned the property for 45 years! Very conveniend location, 5 minute walk from the cathedral. We loved this place and will be back.

Lovely little hotel
The staff and owner were wonderful and very accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and so are the views. It is not a fancy hotel — but it is very comfortable, relaxing and very safe.

Hidden gem with beautiful garden and pool
This hotel was like a hidden little gem tucked away in this beautiful city. The garden was stunning was a pool to lounge by. My room was ground level so I could easily enjoy the garden and pool. It was walking distance to the city center with so many incredible shops and restaurants.

Our apologies for the time it took to receive you at the office. i\It was the day off the receptionist and it was a 2' walk from my office to the entrance of the hotel. Your original room was a normal room and we gave you an upgrade to a more ample room. San Miguel is very dusty these days after finishing the new underpass in town and there is a lot of dust during the day. We usually clean rooms and public areas twice a day for the same reason every day. We are at your service during your stay with us. Thank you again. This customer says we had all the lights off at night and this is not true. Furthermore there were more rooms staying with us several nights and that is not possible.There is a nightwatchman per night and he turns off the lights at 6.45am when he leaves. Also, we do not need to have airconditioning since our climate does not reach excesive heat and the weather changes daily from hot or warm to fresh or rain which radically changes the weather to more than fresh sometimes. we did our best to please this gentleman. The pictures he talks about are the same as today and we clearly state it is colonial mexican decor.

Great location. 4 blocks one way to El Jardin and 4 blocks the other way to El Parque. Great breakfast and large room with kitchenette.

Geraldo was an exceptional host! The entire staff were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to see to our needs. The food was excellent and the rooms were immaculate. I can’t forget to mention the beautiful views??? OMG, AMAZING!!! Already booked for my visit in 2020! M. Williams

Rooms were clean , need to take care of certain details. Working TV, foucets drippings, security lock on the door, security box not working. We felt very safe and would love to go back, staff were very helpfull.
