Nice hotel with perfect location

Posted 25-Dec-2017
The hotel is in the city center and just takes 1 min to go to the famous cathedral, 3 min to the pipila cable station. You can enjoy the town easily living there

Good location

Posted 28-Nov-2017
Pros: The location and the staff
Cons: The room lighting, the beds, and the ventilation
The location was great just steps from the plaza, but the beds are not comfortable and the rooms were stuffy. The staff were very attentive so a mixed review

Edelmira Hotel in Guanajuato, Mexico

Posted 19-Nov-2017
Pros: Location. Staff was helpful and friendly. Nice tiles used behind the reception desk.
Cons: Windows that could be opened in bedroom. A little artwork or color in the rooms so that they are no so dull.
Location: Walk to central plaza and restaurants. Easy access to lots of shops, churches, places to eat. The Teatro Juarez is right around the corner.
This is a centrally located hotel steps from the main square, the Teatro Juarez and within the Historic District. We had a room with a king-sized bed on the interior. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. We had excellent water pressure and hot water when showering. The room, however, did not have an window you could open for fresh air (a minus as far as we're concerned) and the room was very plain -- no color, no art, nothing that would give you a sense of history or of being in Mexico. Breakfast (included in our rate) was unimaginative but fine: fresh juice, and fresh fruit, a choice of eggs, waffles or pancakes.

Charm & location

Posted 01-Nov-2017
Pros: Exposed brick and boutique furnishings, comfortable.
Cons: BE AWARE: Gym only consists of two treadmills in a small room. Noisy breakfast set up with tables/chairs being moved.
Location: Central location. Food tours available for hotel pick up and Hidalgo market and Pipilia monument (look out) & funicular cable car all nearby.
Fantastic location in the heart of the action with restaurants, convenience stores and shops all within minutes. Booked a private driver (through the hotel) for an early morning transfer to Leon airport. Driver did not turn up! Lucky the make our flight out. Hotel offered us an apology but was stressful as we had a connecting international flight. Included breakfast was quite disappointing.

Hotel is located walking Distance from evertything

Posted 28-Sep-2017
The Hotel is beautiful, colonial style well preserved. Rooms are a bit on the darker side, but nothing that will affect your stay. The staff go beyond means to help and make you feel comfortable. Breakfasts which is complementary is delicious, you really have to try it. Thank you Edelmira Hotel for a very pleasant stay we will be sure to recommend your services to our friends.

Amazing Experience!

Posted 28-Sep-2017
Pros: Everything. But the location was amazing.
Cons: nothing
Location: El teatro Juarez, el jardin de la union, el pipila, la catedral, museo de don quijote
We stayed here for two nights and everything was wonderful. Luis and Enrique were so helpful providing great tours for us. Breakfast was SOOO good and it was authentic Mexican cuisine. Our room was super cute, clean and modern. This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. The location is central and it's within walking distance of everything. We will definitely be back!!

Great location!

Posted 17-Sep-2017
Pros: The location, staff and ambiance
Cons: Light on air conditioning unit needs to be hidden.
Location: Right next to lovely square, near theatre, restaurants and cathedral. Great location for walking everywhere!
Perfect location in center of town! Very courteous, helpful staff. Very nice room. Only exception was that air conditioning unit had blue light that we couldn't turn off. It lit up our room and made it hard to sleep.
