Perfect and Romantic.
Perfect location in city center. All tourist locations within walking distance. Advise using the free ear plugs they provide if you want to sleep without noise. Beatiful hotel and service. Would definitely book here again whenever we return to GTO.

It is a beautiful property. The room was comfortable, charming, clean, quiet, and had all amenities. The staff members were so nice and helpful providing any information. Our stay there was very comfortable.

Great stay
The day shift was amazing. They were nice and inviting. The bed and 7 pillows were amazing . Also enjoyed the breakfast at the restaurant. The location was great as well it is near the Jardín Union. Enjoyed my stay.

Beautifully maintained, and beautifully renovated. Large rooms, great beds, incredibly well sound-proofed windows, and comfortably-sized and well-equipped bathrooms. Very responsive staff in general, and in particular w/r/t a personal emergency we had. very good restaurant that merits visiting even if you’re not staying there. Well located, close to the Jardín but away from the nightly liveliness.

Nice hotel in a loud area
We stayed here 4 nights in a room with king bed and full balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. The room was very comfortable, great quiet air conditioning, nice selection of cable stations and good shower with tons of pressure. Our only complaint is it is VERY loud here. The church bells go off every 15 minutes and a nearly night club blasts deafening bass music very late into the night. There is little soundproofing so its hard to sleep. Side note - the few guests we saw seemed to be older, affluent folks. It was pretty empty when we were there. Never saw anyone eating supper there. And only a couple of tables having breakfast. Warning - very little English spoken here by staff.

Incredible location in the center on the city
I loved the hotel and the room. I loved the balcony and the view. The service was excellent as well as the location. The only thing I think can be improved is the pressure in the shower. Congratulations on your hotel. We also had an excellent breakfast at the restaurant.

Great Location!
If you want to be in the center of the city, this location cannot be beat! Staff were pleasant, room was comfortable and clean. While there are steps to the rooms, it’s much better staying before than having to take a lot steps to get to many other hotels.

Everything was perfect, except when we did the reservation, we reserved a room with a king size bed, instead the hotel gave me a double bed, I brought this to the staff attention, and they were able to switch me to a different room the next day, both rooms were beautiful, I just wanted the king size bed. The hotel location is perfect within walking distance to everything right in the center of everything, my wife and I truly loved it.

Had a great stay at Alonso 10
We had a great 2 night stay here and really enjoyed Guanajuato in general. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the location is superb! Our room was on the top floor and surprisingly came with a huge terrace with views of the basilica. The room was large, bed comfy, and the safe worked well. The room was kept cool with the ac unit but it was a bit noisy (irregular popping noises) and it’s blue light was very bright and could not be dimmed (we just covered it up ourselves). The fridge kept drinks just very slightly cool, which was a bit disappointing but not the end of the world. We did not try the breakfast or food at the restaurant but read reviews that it’s s good place to eat at. We’d definitely come back to Guanajuato and would recommend staying at Alonso 10.

The Hotel is very well located. Fantastic service and Room conditions. Nice amenities. The only problem was the AC was not working as desired. Please note the Hotel has no elevator, We were in the top floor, with many stairs to climb

It’s a nice place however the walls are like paper. Good thing that nights were quiet. They can improve on amenities in room. A full size mirror would be noce. Also the fridge didn’t cool enough. The breakfast was excellent! Location is awesome. There is no elevator but the staff caried our luggage. For those who cannot walk stairs it would not be fitting.

All of the staff really made us feel at home. We were well taken care of , especially by Omar. Nicely furnished and designed. Great location near the action, but far enough away to avoid most noise and experience the quainter vibes of Guanajuato, Included breakfast was very good (omelets, huevos rancheros, hotcakes, a couple of others), We were upgraded to the Capela Room after two nights of five. The room is very nice and comfortable, but the terrace was awesome. Can see steeples, here music in the background and relax. We stayed for the first two nights in the Chavez Morado room. It's a window facing the inside of the building and the stairway. While it is a small hotel, other guests past your room window going up and down the stairway.

Location is excellent. Facility and rooms are nice. Staff is very helpful and kind. Good food for breakfast for a fair price. No hotel parking lot, the Lot next to the hotel charges by the hour and it gets expensive after half a day.

The actual hotel is clean and located in a great area. However, I left the door hanger on the door so no one would go into my room and yet the housekeeper still went in and rearranged our clothing and bags. We had money stolen from my husbands shorts which were left on top of a chair in the room!!! Needless to say this was a horrible experience and we are going back and fourth with the hotel manager who said he would reimburse us for the hotel stay due to the inconvenience.

Great location, rooms are big, with tall ceilings, and modern bathrooms, are nice and clean. We found a couple of bugs in the room but they might have come through the open balcony. Very nice staff, nice to see older people employed. We had a dirty blanket with holes on the bed as we checked in (no duvet cover) but they eagerly replaced it upon our request. The king bed was very comfortable but it appeared too big, which is not a problem, but it didn’t have a fitted sheet base - I guess because of its unusual size, so the bottom sheets slide off the bed easily, baring the mattress. Only One negative thing - There was lots of very very loud noise on the street right in front of the hotel that lasted entire two hours on Tuesday night, well after midnight. It was either a fight or some sort of a party. I was surprised that the hotel security staff didn’t call the police to stop it as windows and balconies of many rooms face that street. It was impossible to sleep at night at all as we had to catch an early flight.
