Very old hotel

Little amenities. No seaview from room. No water after 1st night. No kettle for hot water.

Rooms were nice and the staff was nice

I stayed for 2 weeks and did not have any complaints. Good hotel for the price.

Tough challenges staying here!

My first room was small and mold smelling, with no A/C so I was moved to main bldg. 2nd room had bad A/C, toilet, fridge, and noisy next to elevator. I fixed AC myself by cleaning filter. But put in two calls on fridge and toilet. Maint. Workers would tinker with toilet and fridge but still not working right! The toilet would run every 15 minutes due to leak and fridge would spoil my milk in 2 days. Nothing done so I complained to Expedia about my problems and they got me out of my last 7 days but I had to pay a 1 day fine for leaving early. I can't believe expedia has no pull with these hotels and demanded a refund of unused days for their customers. Bad customer service with expedia, the help manager was calling me from poland or some place and I couldnt hear her voice which made this bad experience worse. Parking was very scarce and the uphill walk was tiring. I just had a real bad experience with this hotel and expedia didnt have my back when trying to get refunded. Maybe the front desk staff was nice to me, which made this bad experience a little better.

Good in a pinch! But try not to stay here.

Pros: I liked the maids, even though they do a bad job -- they are super nice. The rest of the staff is super nice, too. Makes staying there more bearable.
Cons: Umm...basically everything. Like, try actually cleaning the rooms. Also, fix the air conditioning so the switches actually work. Also, the outside.
Location: You can see all the beautiful resorts, and walk like 5 blocks to sneak onto their private beaches. Also, food, shopping, etc.
There is black algae all over the outside and it's super ugly. Some of the rooms are disgusting and some are remodeled. The rooms are not clean. There was pubic hair in our first suite and also in the other two rooms we switched to. Super gross and smelled weird. Balcony doors would not close. The thing is most of the island has a lower standard of cleanliness so we say "okay" for overall rating. I would definitely not recommend staying here unless you can't find a room anywhere else. The staff is super nice, though. Woopie doo. Pool is also lame. So is parking, but at least it's free. Good luck.

needed a lot of T L C

Condo room was very large , however very out dated 1970 ish. Needed a lot of maintain with to fix small stuff that really added up. Pool had a haze and needed a good clean. Only stayed here one night and I am very thankful. Wish I would have stayed at one of the hotels right on the water , not much more money but much nicer.

Who designed this property?

The hotel layout is horrible. We were in an adjoining building, and you either had to walk in the front door of the main building and walk across to our building, or walk all the way around our building to the only unlocked door. You couldn't park near a door, and getting out onto the busy street was also hard. The room itself was adequate, but such a pain getting in and out that we will never stay there again.

Mediocre at best.

This hotel is very clearly showing its age. The entrance to the hotel is hard to find, and I missed the entrance on the first time up the street. The overall outside appearance is rundown, but the inside of the hotel is maintained and clean. The front desk staff were courteous and friendly. The beds were relatively comfortable. Several of the lights in my room (reading lights on the headboards) were not functional. The wifi was almost useless. The available wifi consistently dropped connection and had very little capable bandwidth to accomplish anything. I would rate the wifi as useless. I was unable to get hot water in the morning, and was stuck with a very fast cold shower.

hOTEL IS CONVIENTLY LOCATED AND IS VERY COMFORTABLE. ROOM IS CLEAN AND COMFORT. Caters mostly to Japanese. Front desk is no help for tours or attractions. Housekeepers got lazy on our last day. They did not clean room as well as first 3 days and did not leave any soap or toilet paper. Overall very good hotel.
