Beach,pool,staff,price all great

Posted 25-Mar-2017
Pros: For me watching the sun set from the pool was perfect. Also is a resaurant/bar next to the pool. View cant't be beat.
Cons: Had trouble with the wifi.
Location: I managed to get to stores and restaurants on foot but took about 25 minutes. Too hot for that. Next time I'll rent a car.
Was a nice experience. The staff is great, the room was fine. If, like me, you can't afford the five star hotels this one would be a good choice.

Awesome friendly staff

So it's not the best hotel in Guam but it is the best for quite and friendly people. Not to far from a great local bar. Good prices.

Excellent Staff, Excellent Location!

Staff Micky and Benny were great! Room phone lines were out the whole week - big safety blunder here! Also should have few bevs in the fridge for the price per day stay! Staff should mention about the bus / trolley service at the hotel next door as taxi services are crazy expensive! Overall a great stay otherwise!

It looks like it was once a grand hotel that was let go, but it still is a pretty nice place

Never wanna go there again

Stinky room, unkindness of attendants, no drinking waters inside room... that's what I remember of this hotel.

Not what I expected.

No WiFi Check in was one hour late. Entire room needs a major update. Stains on sheets.

Disappointed.

Overall I was sorely disappointed in the Hotel Santa Fe. It is in need of some serious renovations and upgrades. Basic cleanliness was suspect as well, as things are so old (carpet, fixtures, bedding) that you can't really tell if it's clean. The online pictures are obviously professionally done and possibly from when it first opened. The phones throughout the hotel weren't working when I first arrived but I thought "ok, no big deal, they'll be working in a day or two." When I left ten days later they were still inoperable and I don't think they planned on fixing them anytime soon. You had to ask for towels for your room, as one of the ladies casually mentioned they were "short" on towels at the hotel. I don't get that at all. Go buy more! The pool is nice but it's old. They host parties and weddings at the pool and you find out it's closed when you show up. No notice or a flyer taped in the eleveator - nothing. The one saving grace is everyone who works there is super nice and friendly. I stayed the whole ten days because of Chinese New Year and everything else was booked. If my wife had been with me, we'd definitely had to have gone elsewhere, price be damned.

Friendly hotel staff

Posted 08-Feb-2017
Pros: Once again the staff really make this hotel, location is off the beaten path so quite at night, but is very close to shopping, eating etc. rent a car!
Cons: The Restaurant, maybe new beds...
Location: Guam is small, rent a car and get to shopping, eating, swimming etc. within a few minutes.
The Hotel is on the Beach, the rooms are old, but clean. The staff is always friendly and help full. The restaurant is over priced, poor quality food, but again the wait staff are very friendly.
